Hello all...

If there is anyone on here thinking of adoption, I might be able to help with some questions ye may have!

My uncle adopted a beautiful little girl from Vietnam ( I am godmother!!) and I went through all the stages with them...

Plus, if I cant answer, I can ask them for you!!

ah thats great for your uncle hun, i'd say they are delighted... best of luck to them with their new arrival
A friend of mine can't conceive she went through IVF etc but nothing worked she had looked in to adoption but I think her husband decided not to go with it as he thought there was too much paper work and time that went into it and you might not get a baby in the end... Delighted that your uncle got the child he wanted so much all the time spent on paperwork etc all paid off in the end...

My uncle & aunt went through IVF etc too but nothing worked...

They started off going to Russia, that closed down...then China, that closed down....then Vietnam!! We got the best little girl we could have ever wanted!! haha, i always say "we" like she is mine...good thing the parents dont mind...

Its very tough but it really is worth the wait !!

I'd love to adopt a child from a forgein(sp) country, there's so many who need a family and just want to be loved. My heartbroke when I seen a program before about all the orphan children in South Africa, feel so sorry for all the little babies with no families
