Are you becoming a mother? Or do you know someone who will become a mother in a few months time (Jan/Feb 2012)?


Hi Mum 2 Be,

I am a 37 year old student at Trinity College living in Dublin city-centre (I don’t drive). As part of the training in child development I am required to learn about the milestones a baby achieves in his/her first year of life. I would visit once a week for an hour and simply be there witnessing the baby grow and develop in his or her family environment. Do you think you would be interested in allowing me to visit you in your family home?

Infant Observation

All students enrolled on the Masters Programme at TCD undergo the Garda vetting process. A reference letter confriming identity and student status at Trinity College is available.

I am happy to respond to any questions over email and/or phone at any time. If you are considering to allow me to visit your home on a weekly basis for approximately one year after the initial contact, we then can meet to talk about things in more detail. Of course you can withdraw your consent at any time before or during the year.
