so got the the hosp at about 12, went to a&e and got checked. the midwife on there was saying im 3-4 cms dilated and need to go to to the delivary ward. on the internal to check she said about my bone and asked did anyone ever say to me about getting a section....i was like eh no!!!! oh she told me she could feel the head and it was about a finger up, and when we got the the room she went off to get the MW and hubby was like let me feel!!!! eh not on your life buddy!!!! F OFF
the room.....wasnt what i was expecting at all. it was a room huge room with ball, shower and bed and all the stuff for baby when they are born.....big room and no-one else there......for some reason i thought it would be other people there.....anyway it was lovely, then the midwife that would be there when i was in labour asked what pain relief i wanted so i said gas and air for the mo, so she got me that and said when i feel a contraction coming on start using it and stop after....so was saying that and she was like with everything with you (ie high bone) it could be a long labour so if you werent being induced today i would send you to the ward but since you are i'll send you to the birthing pool.....and what did i say......eh i dont have my togs!!! so she explained that its not a pool, its a bath in a room and it will be just me and hubby with them coming in to check heart beat every 30 mins. so i was like oh ok. so off i went down there. it was like a bloody spa!!! it was so relaxing and so nice. hubby had a leather chair to sit on, i went into the bath (along with my gas and air!!!) and MW said go fully in it helps more so off i went. she left and hubby was like give me some.....but he didnt get anything from it but my god it was working for me!! the room it was roasting!!! i was sweating like there was no tomorrow. at one point hubby said era im kinda hungery are you!! and i said no love but thanks for asking. 
(dont remember this but hubby said i said it!!) so he went off and got a sandwitch and he came back had that and then one point the MW came back in and i was like i cant take it anymore its too hot, pain is getting to much i need to be lying down, so hubby and her helped me out of the bath cas i was sucking the G&A like there was no tomorrow at this point, and she had to go get me a wheel chair cas i was so out of it i couldnt walk!! haha.so back in the room, got out of the wheel chair and sitting on the side of the bed and app i started to fall over, hubby was holding me up....and i was still sucking on the G&A and MW was like only use it when your in pain....and app i said im always in F'ing pain, im suck a woss i have no pain threshold!!! so herself and hubby helped me into the bed. i was on my back and then said i think i need to push, MW said i dout your that far along yet (was in the bath for about 2 hours) let me check and then said oh your about 9 cms gone....i said how much longer roughly and she said it will be a while cas of the bone and your going to need assistance in the birth do you want an epi and i was yes yes yes NOW!! so dr got called. in he came and i need to sit over the bed leaning over a pillow and staying still......well i was so out of it that didnt work!!! hubby was at one side MW at other holding me up and keeping me still!! so got that, MW wiped the G&A from me and then it started to kick in and G&A was slowly leaving my systm, the dr came back in to check and i had this big stupid smile on my face and he laughed and said its working so yes!! haha. so around 5.15 i was fully dilated and MW broke my waters. she said in about an hour i'll get you to start pushing. so was there for an hour nice and happy out talking away to hubby and MW.
so 6.15 MW said right your gonna start pushing now but i need you to have your feet in the strips and high and up. she was checking me out and said i can see the babys head and he has a nice thick head of hair....."hubby" would you like to see!!! and hubby looked down but said he couldnt see anything! well not his head anyway haha. she said when i feel pressure, start pushing,she said when i feel that to push 3 long hard pushes each go. so done the frist lot of 3 pushes and my a gyne comes in to see if how i was doing and said how long to leave it before his called for help....so pushed and pushed and no amount of pushing, panting or anything would move him (he had hit the bone) so after about 10 mins of trying the dr was called, so this is when i closed my eyes and he done what needed to be done for the vacum and he worked away and it hurt and i was shouting and MW was look at me stop wasting your engery save the anger for the pushing this kinda foucsed me and i closed my eyes and when i felt pressure i pushed and then MW said open your eyes and look.....and right in front of my eyes was my little man, i said oh my baby....can i hold him and MW said baby is still coming out , so i actually saw him being born.....the weirdest and best feeling in the world. i didnt need any one to tell me it was a boy cas i could see for myself! haha. so he was out and placed on my chest, hubby cut the cord and i got a little hold before he was taken away under the lights. dr was giving me stiches and this was so sore i asked for more G&A so got that, and then when he was finished DS was being checked by his own dr cas of the vacum birth and when she was finished hubby was given a hold. the poor little man had a huge lump on the top of his head, and cas of the black hair it looked so much worse than it prob was and that did upset me a bit but MW said in a few days it will have gone way down and it will be fine.....hard to belive it at the time, but it has and is getting better every day.
we then got some tea and toast.....and my god this was the best tea and toast i ever had in my life!!! haha. they said it was time for DS to get a feed but he wouldnt take it my boob at all, he wasnt getting laching or sucking at all so MW said i could express, give him a bottle, or leave him but that means he needs a blood test to check his sugar levels so i said give me the bottle for the mo. he wasnt getting it for a while and really it was only yesterday that he started really taking the bottles but still wouldnt lach and stuck me so im sticking with the bottles. happy out cas i know his def getting enough now. little man was born 8 lbs 10 oz, and perfect.
and thats it....anymore ye wanna know just ask. hahahaha

I hope you are not too sore after the labour... How is your little man since he got home has he been sleeping alright for you?
