my due date was the 09/09/09 so wen that day came and went i was disappointed i was so excited cudnt wait 2 meet my wee man
i was 4 days overdue wen i had been away with my sister for the day we had walked and walked and walked the whole day i was exhausted by the time i got bac 2 hers so stayed dere da nite. it was the best nites sleep id got in months cos had been avin a terrible time sleepin thru most of my pregnancy. at 8.30 the next mornin i was kinda just dozin wen i got a sudden urge like i needed the toilet my waters started 2 leak and by the time i reached the bathroom i felt the gush they had well and truly broken. i said 2 my sister bout it i was so nervous as dis was my 1st baby and even tho i had read the pregnancy book front to back i still didnt no everythin 2 expect. she rung my mum and we got her wee boy in2 school i didnt start gettin pains til 9 am but they were comin vry close together but i still thought i had ages to go yet so we lifted my mum and went bac out 2 my sisters 4 a cup of tea i cudnt even drink it the pains were comin thick and fast so about 10 am my mum rung the hospital and we headed in i swore i was gonna push my hands through the dash of the jeep i was pushin against it dat hard with each contraction. at this stage they were comin every 2mins and lastin a min and a half. we reached the hospital bout 10.20 and i cudnt stand up 2 get out of the jeep for a gud few mins. wen i did get out i walked as far as the entrance and cud walk no further i cudnt even get in2 the wheelchair the pains were comin that hard and fast. i eventually got in2 it and the midwife run wit me to the lift and straight in 2 get an internal. i was 5 cm at about 10.30 so they took me straight 2 the birthin room. i was askin for a pethidine injection and dey told me i cud ave it nw in a min little did i no it was 2 late for it. i was 15mins in the delivery room wen i shouted at the mw i need 2 push. there was a wee ambulance man in trainin hw 2 deliver a baby incase he had 2 deliver along the road. he was great patting my head with a damp cold cloth and gettin me water 2 sip at. i dont no hw i didnt break my mums arm i was squeezin that hard lol. i pushed for bout 45 mins and my wee man came in2 dis world at 11.31 am on da 15th sept 09 weighin 7lb 12 and half oz. he was so beautiful i was on
i felt great afterwards i got 1 stitch and then i was up got showered and got a cup of tea and toast answered all the queations da mw asked me and off dwn 2 the ward. i really felt great needed no pain relief or anythin afterwards and no pain got home 2 days later and been enjoyin every min with my wee man ever since hopin for a little bro or sis for him soon
