A little about yourself

Postby MammyT » Fri Sep 17, 2010 10:26 am

I'll get it started.

Hi I'm mammyT, I have a 2 year old son who will be 3 in November.
He started pre-school the first week of Sep and he loves it. He is only going 3 days aweek as he won't get a free child place till next year.
I married my best friend in April in Lanzarote we had the best time ever.
We are currently trying for baby number 2.

O YummyMummy am hoping everything is perfect for you this time. So sorry to hear about your losses :(

Married my hubby a month ago and while we're not really trying as such, we're not trying not to!

Good luck to everyone TTC and to those already expecting hope all goes well for all of you.

I am 32, married 2 months and expecting our first baby on 10th December. We had been trying for 2 years and then when we set a date for the wedding we stopped trying and of course that's when we got the good news. We are really excited and can't wait to play santa this year with our new little one.

Hi all! I'm 22, been married for 4 months now, we have a 2 year old daughter together already and we're expecting our little boy in January! :D Can't wait to have the family I've always dreamed of, and I feel very lucky and blessed that we've had no problems with TTC either, with both our babies being concieved within 3 months of trying. :D

Hi everyone,

I'm 33 nearly 34 and a mother of 2 children. A boy aged 4 and a girl who will be 3 in November. I work full time so both of them are in a creche. My little boy started pre school in September so he'll be going to big school September next year (please god). I will be getting married in June 2011 after been together with my OH for nearly 14 years. I have found it hard to cope at times trying to deal with children and life in general. My partner works in another county doing shift work so it's left to me to get them up in the morning, be with them in the evenings and most weekends. He does help when he's home but I don't think it's fair on him and I usually end up spending time outside the house doing jobs I should have been doing but couldn't.

They are good children and I get great enjoyment out of them, but sometimes there is just no time for myself or for my partner. Does anyone else feel like this. We have tried to make changes, like good a nice meal at least twice a month. It gives each of us something to look forward to.

Anyway this is me and best of luck to others who are TTC and who have children already.

Hey everyone!
i recognize a few names from Mrs2be! :welcomewave :welcomewave and looking forward to getting to know everyone else.

I'm 28, turning 29 in January and after less than 2 years with my dh (married less than 2 months) we decided that we are better off ttc. Didn't want to leave it too late and miss our opportunity. I work full time and study part-time. Finishing Masters this year (fingers crossed!) DH will be commuting to work so we have to make the most of time.
See you all around the forums! :babydust :babydust :babydust

hi,

Im 28 married nearly 4 months and after a very close family member passed away (was sick for a number of years) we decided that we were silly to wait that not time is the right time and that life is too short. so we're TTC at the moment but not worrying about it too much just letting nature take its course

Hi there caroline, welcome to the site! :welcomewave
I totally understand how hard it is to make time for yourself and your h2b, it's really important that you take an evening every once in a while to just be a couple and enjoy each other's company. We're all here for you if you ever need to have a good chat about it hun. :hugs
