DD wont be christened neither is DS2, DS1 was just to shut my parents up :doh
Dh was christened RC but is Atheist and i was christened COI but last time i was in church was last yr for my nans funeral before that it was my dads funeral 5 yrs ago, the boys go to the Educate Together school and so will DD. We dont go to church or mass unless we have to(funeral, wedding etc) We had a civil ceremony in a hotel when getting married.
If either of us walked into a church it would prob crumble
DS1 is 9
DS2 is 5

i have no idea why it is so difficult to get him into primary school when there are some many other cultures already attending all the schools but because he is irish and his parents are irish then they expect a baptism cert and its just not fair.
if i invite all the family then no one will come to a party, there would be punches and fights and it will get messy so either no party at all or seperate ones, and that will be that. haha (presents gratefully accepted though)

My nephew has 2 sets of god parents! Myself and my oh plus my brother and his oh. The church had no problem with it but will only put 1 set of godparents on christening certificate!

I've heard it can depend on the priest. Some priests will only allow one man and one woman. Suppose some of them are verrrrry old fashioned! Theres one in our parish thats a real stickler for tradition! Best off to ask I'd say but honestly I'd say the majority of priests let you do what you like ;)
