Routines

Postby excitedmama2be » Wed Jan 25, 2012 11:26 pm

Hello mummies and mummies to be!
Just wondering do you have a routine for your baby or are you going to put your baby in a routine so every day nap times and feeding times are the same or are you just going with the flow??
:thanks

I agree! Routines are great just its hard to get in to one as my baby some days wants to nap at 9 a.m. and some days he doesnt! And also to keep a routine is easier at home but as soon as you are going somewhere it gets difficult!

Oh I'd well believe it hun! I'd say its fairly hard alright, especially on those days where you have to be somewhere and it completely throws off all routines!

Well I'd say wont be too hard for you to get your baby in to routine you know kids so well you are with them every day and you know how their head works :) I'm looking forward to baby going to bed at 8 at what age they start doing that?

I have to have routine I would be a frazzled mammy with out it. All 3 kiddies are in bed every night by 8. With dd i don't have a great routine during the day yet because with school runs etc I seem to be in and out all morning till I collect ds1 at 2.10. I found it easier to have a routine when the bits were younger but it's hard with 3 and 3 school runs a day.
DS1 is 9
DS2 is 5

same here and little dude is 13 weeks. we have a kinda routine- i am strict with times during day but go with little man by night

He still wakes once during night so we go with him and meet his needs as required during night.
During the day, he is fed every 4-5 hours and sleeps when he needs to. I don't encourage him to nap, I follow his lead tbh.
It works for me....

Yeah my boy eats every 4 hours wakes once a night still(actually last two nights he slept from 10 to 5.30) but naps durring the day is a nightmare! He fights sleep dont know why because he goes down at 10 p.m. to bed with his eyes wide open and fals asleep no probl I dont even need to go in once to check on him. Maybe because I swadle him only for the night!?
