Today my fiance took our baby to mass and then called in to his mum..this is the first time that I'm separated from my baby and I have to say I dont like it at all... :( Miss him like crazy..I presume its going to get easier right?? Or am I never going anywhere until my baby grows up??

i remember the frist time i left my little man, was getting my hair done and my mom had to push me out the door. i hated it, couldnt wait to go home and hold and kiss him. frist night i left him i dropped him to my sis's and sat in the car and cried.

i havent found it doesnt getseasier but it doesnt feel so bad anymore. i think its good for baby to spend time with other people so they learn how to interact with other people. if im going shopping or something and i leave my little man with my parents i know he know thier house and he knows them, and this will be a huge thing for me when i go back to work so i know how lucky i am there.

Me too!!!! Longest 4 hours ever! I was worried how will he deal if baba started crying... I feel like I know baby so well and I know what bothers him but thats just because I spend most time with him...

 I must be a terrible mammy as i love getting a break from the kiddies  Havent left DD overnight yet but my mam is taking her in May for the night when myself and DH go away for a night for our anniversary, but i have left her with her for a few hours when going hairdressers, shopping, hospital apt with DS2 etc. The boys often go to my sisters and mums for the night.

I had my first night out when dd was 6wks and i enjoyed every mIn of it, don't get me wrong I love my kids to bits and love spending time with them but for my sanity I need a break every now and again and I think every mammy needs that.

Sure look thats ok!! dont put yourself under pressure... people keep asking me have i been away from my bab much, ok Iv been out once but you know what, I dont want to leave him and go on a night that Im not going to enjoy (now in fairness I enjoyed the nite out I had) but sometimes the thoughts of even getting dressed up kills me!!! I still feel yuk and fat and Im happy to stay in a snuggle my little baba... work up towards it, leave him for an hour then 2 then 3 etc... but dont be hard on yourself.
