yup i get that too hunni, i spose its normal!lol oh i hear ya on the gaviscon is horrible ive the one u drink, and i have rennies fruit flavour too to have in my handbag, find salty r fatty foods agrivate it and ive a bad back any way but its getting worse ive to go back to physio id say 60 quid a pop no fun!!

i went to aqua aerobics there this evening and really enjoyed it, hoping it will help all those muscles inside and keep me regular too
do ya know what annoyed me today.. people asking me how i am n how im feeling, they really dont wanna hear it so why bother ask! even family. i siad my back was a lil sore n one of them said "god and ur not even halfway yet!" DONT ASK IF U DONT WANNA KNOW!!!!!

Im under Dr Fahy. She is suppose to be lovely. I didnt get to meet her though. I am public so it may be different if your private. I was dissapointed to be honest. So busy when we arrived when I checked in I was 29 on the list to be seeing and there was no sits available. But you go in and out getting different things done. health questions, Bloods etc I didnt feel the wait. 2 and half hours in total. Some of the staff are nicer then others But I put this down to them been under staffed. They also didnt have any New mum packs left and no leaflets. Baby boom definaly going on in Limerick Maternity. All they kept saying to me was its shared care between clinic and Gp. As for them weighing Moms to be. I was told they only weigh you once and at the last Clinic appointment due to too many mothers worring about weight.

Just saw there on your thread you suffer from back pain. My back is killing me last few weeks. Make an appointment in physio tell the clinic tomorrow and they will give you a form to put under physio door and she will ring you with appointment. Its free and the girl is lovely her name is Lucy. I went last week for physio. Back pain is very common especially at early stage Baby is putting pressure on pelvis and this is interferring with my core muscles. Hope this helps. I find a hot water bottle good while sitting in evenings help ease the pain some bit. As for heart burn cut out the food that sets it off best you can.

hey got on great!!twas so cool hearing the heartbeat and we saw babs too just chillin out heartbeat was 132per min, i think babs is gonna be a boy had thought a girl before but after seeing him/her today is day boy lol!i dont care aslong as baby is fine n healthy!forgot bout the physio im back in a few weeks anyway so ill say it then and if it gets bad ill ring in the meantime for an appointment,all in all had a lovely day!

Thats great Lovemylilbean that you got to hear the heartbeat and everything. I still havent heard our babys. Did you go private?

no hun im public, have u gone for ur scan?the trainee doc tried the dopploer n i thought that she wouldnt pick up the hb but she did until my lo ran away from it lol but heard it again when another doc did my scan, babyl totally relaxed now n love being pregnant, been tld by a few that ive that 'glow' too lol! so happy!how u getting on urself?

went for my scan tues also but didnt hear a heart beat, she didnt seem to be worried she told me where the head was and told me thats the heart but didnt hear anything. I hope thats normal. Im sure if there was something wrong she would have told me

hey hun, i went for an early scan at 11 weeks and they showed me the head n heart were but as far as i know u dont hear the heartbeat on the scan machine! I didnt hear anything on it. They have to use a doppler machine to listen to the heartbeat.
I went to hear the heartbeat at 14 weeks n a bit at my GP's and the doc wasnt sure if he would be able to find it that early. he did pick it up but it took ages and kept going in and out. i wouldnt worry if i was u, ive heard from a lot of people that docs mightnt be able to find it til 16/17 weeks or so! plus not all doctors have the doppler machine so it all depends really! did they use the doppler on you?

I will go back to Gp next week and see if I can hear heart beat. I saw the heart beating during the scan but it just isnt the same.

Aww hunni I'm so happy for you, I know exactly how your feeling right now and its amazing! I'm ok back Is breaking me, I'm goin physio on Tuesday to see if she can help, my doc gave out to me about work and picking up children and reckons that's why my back is the way it is! I cry at night with the pain and then have to get up and go work the next day.
