Yay!! Head down is great :) Got the great news myself on Monday that baby is head down and fully engaged so locked and loaded and ready to go :) I asked at my 28 weeks ANC about baby being head down and can they move etc and the cons said that they CAN move although its fairly unlikely. They don't have enough room to move really. I started sitting on my gym ball a LOT from that stage cause I really didn't want to take the chance that babs would turn and I'd heard that the gym ball can encourage them to stay head down and to begin to engage.
I was chatting to my mother about this and she said that I was head down the whole way through her pregnancy and then at 34 weeks I flipped! Luckily enough I moved back into head down position on my own at almost 38 weeks and was born at 42 weeks naturally but she was telling me just to make me aware that babies can still find room to move at almost any stage!

Fingers crossed hun! I was lying in bed the other night and felt this really really big movement, like baby went up in a solid lump in my tummy and there was a wee foot sticking out near my ribs, looked CRAZY! And I was fully convinced baby had disengaged or someting and moved into a breech position! Had a GP check up the following day and got a shock (a good one!) when she agreed with the sonographer that head was fully engaged - she even pointed out exactly where baby's limbs were (as if I didn't know already  ) Will we ever stop worrying! I heard its worse when they're out of our tummies

I got that news yesterday too - baby's head is now down which is great! The midwife said that generally they dont turn once they are down but that they can do.
