Still at home girls. Babs seem to keep changing their mind as to when they want to come. 90% effaced and 2cm dilated but it could be another week or more before babs decides to make an appearance! Hopefully twill be sooner rather than later cause I'm proper sick of the pains!!

Aw, BM3, you poor thing still waiting! I wasn't online yesterday as it was my mother's birthday and I was expecting that your baba would share the same birthday as my mam! Hope your baba gets a move on before the 29th anyway!! C'mon lil' BM3, get into this world, your mammy needs her belly back!

Well no one here can doubt my dedication to yas - lying in the delivery room in labour haha! Pains got regular bout 4ish, started coming at 3-4 min intervals round 5ish. Had a shower and they got worse so after some persuasion from my hubby and FIL (as we had went to his house for tea!) we got in the car and got to L&D around 7ish. Checked in, pains were rotten and I could barely stand so straight in for an internal - where the MW said I was not quite 2cms dilated!!! I didnt think it was possible for.your cervix to start to close back up but obviously.something like that had happened! So they wrote down I was 1.5cms and i put on my Tens and sat on the birthing ball. I got another internal round 10ish and I was at 4cms yay! Next internal said I was 6-7 and the pains were right.on top of each other so asked for.epidural. The MWs really didnt want ti give it to me as I had been managing well but I think I started to freak out at the pain and the thought that there was worse to come!! So just as the doc arrived to give me the epi my.waters went pop and fluid went everywhere! So got epi and now I'm lying here havibg a rest! Was 8-9cms about 40 mins ago so my MW is gone for her tea break and we'll see what happens when she gets back!! Either way babs will be here today!!!!!
