Well girls have been admitted to hosp. Came in thinking my waters might be leaking, no they were not but the contractions I've been having all weekend were/are the real deal So baby is 2/5 engaged they reckon, cervix is 75% effaced and its "forward facing and favourable" although I'm not dilating yet but the midwife who gave me an internal reckons I should start dilating tonight! They reckon I'll be in established labour tomorrow, she said I'm in slow labour right now. They are after giving me a sleeping tablet so I should sleep thru some of the pains hopefully but she said if nothing has happened by tomorrow that I can go home and labour slowly there. I really didnt want to stay until I was in established labour bt they were pretty adamant I stay! So maybe baba will have decided to make an appearance by tomorrow or Wednesday! Will keep you girls updated! To any of the missies, I havent posted there yet cause one of the girls is friends with my friends and we dont want to be telling people yet until we know I'm definitely gonna be having this baba soon! I'll prob post over there tomorrow when I know more Just had to share with someone

Eeeeekkkkkk!!! Im so excited!! Hopefully baby gets a move on for you tonight Mrs, & after I told them we are waiting....good timing!!
Keep us updated....ill hardly be able to sleep with the excitement!

Thanks girls! Sleeping tab worked for bout an hour and then woke up to some really, lets call them unpleasant pains! Lying here listening to.my Hypnotherapy and trying to relax. The ward is quite busy though so not sure I'll get a great sleep tonight with all the goings on! Will most definitely keep the missie aunties updated my lovies Sure how could I not, ye've been on this whole journey with me Yer prob mad to finally find out if its a boy or a girl!! Cant believe that soon we'll be saying their name instead of "the baby"!!!! Eeek!

Aww by the weekend you'll be home holding babs in your arms please god pity the sleeping tablet didn't last long, you need your rest! Will they be round 1st thing to check are you dilating?

Im raging it.didnt last longer Getting some more pains now that are even less pleasant than before. I dont feel like I can lie down and honestly all I want is James! I might give it a half hour and time the contractions, at the minute its like a constant period pain all in my lower body (back and tummy) and I'm kneeling on all fours on the bed. The contractions seem to be lasting 45 to 55 seconds on average and coming every 6 ish minutes but this happened on Friday (tho they werent so bad!) and the pains eased off and went away completely so I dont want to be at the midwives so early in the game iykwim! They'll prob give me another internal if I go to the MWs station and at the minute I'm so tense I really dont fancy one Reading that back I sound like a right weirdo

Got a little easier as the night went on. Still didnt sleep wonderfully so Im shattered! Himself is going into work until we know more cause if I havent progressed Ill be heading home so theres no point in him missing work. Would love to ask him to come out to me but I'll survive

Can you get your sis to come in for a few hours till you know what's happening, I hate that your doing it alone at moment. Just someone for a bit of support through the pains.

Grrrr I could scream! They are sending me home, no internal or anything. Just said that if the pains continue to get worse I have to com back in but theres no point in sitting in here! I get where they're coming from but seriously why bother to keep me last night when I didnt want to stay and now when the pains are worse they're sending me home! I dont know whether Im coming or going!!

Stupid Bloody hospitals! Why no internal like to see if you've dilated, makes no sense like! Ah hope your ok hunni, at least your started now and lets hope everything moves fast!

Ong hun!! Hardly ever on here but omg came on today !!! Can't believe it so excited for u hun!!! Hope u arnt 2 far from meating baba now !! Can't wait soo exciting!!!

Well they put me on the trace and the MW said I must have a high pain threshold cause Im having strong contractions. The only thing is that they're not regular enough yet and sitting round the hospital won't help. She said I could stay or go so I choose to go cause Im only 5-10 mins away from them. Still having lots of pains but not getting any more regular. Have been walking since I got home, tmi here but really feel like I have to poo but nothing happening there when I try. Back ache is cruel! But I wont complain, Im optimistic that it will all come together and true labour will kick off soon! Going to go for another brisk walk and after that gonna have a nap cause Im wrecked tired. Any one have any other tips on how to regulate your contractions? This slow labour business is getting pretty old!
