Hi girls I was wondering if yous could help me, I keep getting a pain across top of my tummy its painful and only comes and goes! I was wondering is this pain to do with pregnancy or setting totally different!

Its too hard to say really... Did you check with the midwife? could be braxton hicks! people feel contractions in different places, some in their belly, some in the back..

I would definitely ask a midwife hun. As soexcited said it might be BH, I started feeling BH very low down and they have only recently (like in the last month or six weeks) spread to my upper abdomen too.

Thanks girls, I've doc checkup this week so I'll ask her but she's useless and will most likely fob it off!

Dont let her hun! I know its easier said than done but if its playing on yer mind they should at least be able to help a little! If you get no joy outta yer GP maybe just ring the L&D and ask what it could be. I find the midwives are SO much nicer and more patient than my GP!
Hows the back holding up hun? Have you decided when to go on mat.leave?

Thanks girls! My back is grand weekends lol and kills me after work each day I've written in the 12th if April for maternity leave which is 2 weeks before due date but I'm giving my self till 35 weeks now and then finishing up! I would love to be gone now but a girl in work is gone out sick for 6 weeks with a ulcer do can't leave them short handed! My mam gives out that I worry 2 much but I can't help the way I am!
