RTE are shooting a documentary on The Current Irish Baby Boom to be broadcast in mid January. It looks at the boom through the eyes of a 35 year old successful career woman, newly married and suddenly seeing pregnant women everywhere! Does she dare take the plunge - before it's too late? Along the way she looks at the state of the maternity services,the various birthing options from waterbirth thru' hypnobirthing, the boom in IVF treatments and the issues that face 'older mothers' in general. We are looking to interview a woman who's in that mid-30's age-group and pregnant with her first child. Someone who's had and enjoyed her wild party years and is happy with the decision to become a Mum. Preferably somebody in the final stage of pregnancy who might be willing to try out some of the more off-beat ante natal classes and options with us.
