Sorry now this could be looking for TMI but a girl has got to know
Which brand of maternity pads are you using or have you bought. Im the kinda person who likes to look at them before buying but of course you cant open the pack......also how many packs should I need.

i used the mothercare ons but to be honest the hospital ones are the best... then the always ultra night time ones are good too! as to the amount every1 is different so just stock up well.. they wont go2 waste.

The ones they use in the hospital are the Bastos Vieges ones. I got them in Health Express. They're in a green wrapper and cost 2.90 for 10 pads. I have 4 packs and will buy more as needed. No point in going mental on them when I've shown hubby exactly where he can pick up more for me Plus a friend of mine said that when she was going home from hospital they gave her a good few pads as well so I think I've loads for now anyway! I've two packs packed in my hospital bag anyway just in case!

I used the ones that they give you in hospital while I was there but as they are very big I used always when I got back home. I needed 2 a day for 4 weeks.

Thats great thanks girls! I was also chatting to a friend today and she said the same that the hospital ones are the best the BV ones. She said yes they are big and ugly looking but she was saying they also give you a bit of cushioning for when you are a bit sore!

Def get the big green hospital ones, the tesco own brand maternity pads are good aswell. Don't use normal pads as they can mask infection and catch the stitches if you have any and cause irritation.

I got the Thick Mothercare & Boots brands. Then a few packs of the slim maternity pads for when the flow gets lighter.
My Nana actually told me to use ladies incontence pads (back in the day they could get them free off the district nurse and it ment less money being spent) She swears they are better than actual maternity pads??

hey ladies..was in chemist today and spotted those big green Bastos Vieges maternity pads so picked up 2 packs! was just wonderin how they work cos theyve no sticky bit on the back? am i just being dozy or do they just stay in place cos theyre so big??
