There is nothing as amazing as those first few kicks, and it's even better when your other half feels them. My 5 year old niece thinks it's amazing too, she puts her head to my tummy and swears she can hear the heartbeat. Yesterday she was convinced I was having a boy, i said to her "what makes you think that it's a boy?" to which she replied, "I felt his willy". Well I fell around the place laughing.
