hey girls..when did ye first feel your babies moving? im 16 and a half weeks now, some of the books are saying you might feel it from 16 weeks onwards but depends on ur own body type, where ur placenta is and whether this is your first baby or not!
id be a bigger girl anyway, lol and with this being my first baby it prob wont be too early for me! anyone remember when they felt it first! cant wait for movement!

I read from 16 to 20 weeks depending on 1st baby or not. I cant wait either.

I think I had flutters from around week 16 but proper movement from around week 20.... starts off very sparse but by week 30 onwards its mad!

I started feeling movement at 16 weeks ish and hubby was able to feel the odd movement from the following week onwards. I think it might depend on where your placenta is lying as well!

On my first I was nearly 20 weeks and taught it was never Gona happen and on this lo I was nearly 16 weeks but took about 3-4 more weeks before h2b could feel anything! We are all different hunni so don't be to dissapointed if its not 16 weeks for you, believe me they are worth waiting for

I was 22 weeks when I first felt the movement!!!! I was starting to worry but they came with a bang so dont worry at all but when you do feel them first time it's magical

i was the same as excitedmama around 21/22 weeks, now i cant sleep baby is so active but i dont mind its a lovely feeling hunni so enjoy, oh my hubby only felt baby for the first time thins week so week 30 for him.

I was about 16 weeks when i felt the first flutters. Now baby won't stop moving, keeping me awake at night with somersaults and kicks to my ribs. There is nothing as amazing as those first few kicks, and it's even better when your other half feels them. My 5 year old niece thinks it's amazing too, she puts her head to my tummy and swears she can hear the heartbeat. Yesterday she was convinced I was having a boy, i said to her "what makes you think that it's a boy?" to which she replied, "I felt his willy". Well I fell around the place laughing.

The innocence of it all. Hubby roared laughing too. She's at that age where words like "willy" and "poo" make her laugh and she thinks it's great to say them.

Awww so cute!! Bless her! I'd be in danger of wetting myself laughing if a niece or nephew said that to me!

i had my first flutters at 14 weeks but definate movement at the 18th week and it never let up and then it got sore and he beat his poor mother up and now he is still beating his poor mother up with random head butts and jabs and kicks, he will be in the olympics yet in kick boxing

woke early this morning ladies for one of my MANY toilet trips. was lyin in bed kinda half awake and i kinda felt this barely-there little flutters.. i dont know if i was imagining it cos i want to feel movement or whether i actually did feel something! its very strange! fingers crossed ill feel it again soon!

I was nearly 22 wks before I was SURE I felt anything. It was still quite feint then too. I was 25 wks before hubby felt them. Hed always put his hands on just as baby had stopped moving!

Now all I have to do is look down and SEE baby moving! Its amazing!

i was wondering this too, cant wait to feel them!hopefully in a few more weeks baby will throw a few shapes in there n dace like his/her daddy does he does this weird shoulder shuffle thing when hes had a few pints-like last night n woke me up at 4.30 for n then rolled over after grunting for some weird n strange reason!men r strange arent they went completly off topic yet again sorry lol!
