hi all.got my l.m.p the 18th of august doc reckons im 9weeks.but was sent for scan and i had an internal one sac only messured 5 weeks but couldnt see baby.have to go back again on the 2nd for another to see can they see baby.left in limbo and dnt no what to expect or think.worring alot but trying to stay postive.any advice

I think that if they measured you to be 5 weeks at the scan then thats too soon to see anything other than the sac. I had an early scan at 6+4 and they could just about see the baby at that scan so I'd say if I'd had it any earlier I would have just seen the sac too! I'm sure everything is fine hun! Try not to worry, easier said than done I know!

thats good to no.im trying to keep postive.keep telling myself ive no bleeding so thats a good sign.just wish it was next week and i no one way or other whats happing

I know what you mean, its horrible to have to kinda hang in limbo! But if its any comfort to you I'd say everything is pretty much normal! Let us know how you get on at next weeks scan

Yeh I wouldnt worry too much hun, there isnt really anything to see at 5 weeks anyway, I thought the earliest to see anything was around 8 weeks maybe... dont worry too much about the exact dates and weeks, this changes throughout the pregnancy sometimes.
