I actually had a scare last Friday, ended up being sent to hospital with God awful pains, couldn't help thinking the worst! But everything was ok, they did an u/s and told me everything was looking ok and I was to take it easy for a couple of days. Saw the heartbeat on the scan for a minute but I was so scared and shakey that the midwife just told me to lie down flat and try to relax. Hubby was in amazement when he saw the heartbeat but all I could think was "please be ok!!!"
I'm absolutely wrecked this week and as sick as a dog! ALL DAY! I only perk up a teeny tiny bit at night! My mother was in with me today and she said I'm gonna have to do something about the nausea and sickness - I literally can't function, I'm pale and I've lost weight and just the smell of food makes me sick! Even the thoughts of it sometimes!! This morning I was thinking "I wonder what I can stomach for brekkie" and thought of porridge for a change and got sick straight away! Not fun! Don't get me wrong, I'm obviously delighted I'm pg and that everything is ok with the little one but I'm sooooooo over this morning (or all day!) sickness! I'd be handling it better if I wasn't sick all day, just in the morning but the fact that its constant is totally crap! I suppose its a sign that everything is ok tho!!
How're you hun? Has it started to sink in yet? I only still half believe it

babymakes3 sorry to hear about your scare but glad everything is ok. sorry about the sickness though, just try and keep drinking fluids.

Thanks gab! I'm glad everything ended up ok too - just can't push myself as hard as I normally would! It's easy enough to relax these days with the sickness! And there I was hoping I'd be one of the fortunate few who didn't get morning sickness - and here I am now, crippled with it! Typical

That sickness sounds awful, you poor thing. I really hope it passes for you soon. As GAB said, drink plenty of fluids.
Been feeling a bit rough myself the last few days, but nothing compared to what you are experiencing.

Think it's sinking in a bit, but not fully yet
Did a left over test on Saturday just to see the proper pink line, what am I like!!
such a shame the battery goes on the digital cos I like to reassure myself every so often.

Thanks hun I'm glad everything is ok too! I've juust gotten it into my head that my little one is not going anywhere until I say so - and hubby has told me to calm down and not worry so much cause his mother (in heaven rest her soul) wouldn't let anything bad happen - and that totally reassured me!
Have started to drink some flat 7up - like I always used to if I had a tummy bug or something and I must say I feel loads better! I think it might have something to do with the sugar!

I know what you mean! I took a picture on my phone of all the positive tests I've done I look at them every couple of days just to be sure I got a picture at the scan last Friday, my little one looks like a kidney bean So small and the pic is really blurry! We're decided that we're gonna find out the sex as well but just not tell anyone! I'm saying girl, he's saying boy - along with everyone else who knows! I'm the only one saying girl

i always says mommy knows best, so you could be right as for finding out the sex and not saying, its alot easier said than done. we tried this, but the day we found out i let it slip buy showing my dad the scan pics and saying her legs (we were told girl frist) he didnt pic up on it but my mom and sis were and picked it up straight away!! and then of coarse the next scan we were told his nice and healthy

I like that - mommy knows best I think I'll use that one! Hee hee!! Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of - we couldn't even keep it to ourselves about being pg in the first place

Thank you My next scan should be in about 6 or 7 weeks, I'll be around 13 or 14 weeks gone I think
