Are you becoming a mother? Or do you know someone who will become a mother in a few months time (Jan/Feb 2012)?

Hi Mum 2 Be,
I am a 37 year old student at Trinity College living in Dublin city-centre ( I don't drive) and am training to become a child psychotherapist. As part of the training in child development I am required to observe a mother and her new born baby for the first year of life. I would visit once a week for an hour and just watch the interaction between mother and baby. Do you think you might be interested?

Infant Observation

All students enrolled on the Masters Programme in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Child & Adolescent strand) at TCD undergo the Garda vetting process. A reference letter confriming identity and student status at Trinity College is available.

I am happy to respond to any questions over email and/or phone at any time. If you are considering to go ahead with the infant observation after the initial contact we then meet for an informal chat to discuss things further and in more detail. Of course you can withdraw your consent at any time.
