just back from the doc n spot of xmas shoppin while we were in town, shattered now! he was really happy with the pg test he did came up postive straight away nice n strong, also sent off a letter requesting a scan for 7 weeks which is only friday 2 weeks fingers crossed babs will make it n everythings ok. i told him bout the last time n my boss n said if i had to would be put ,e out on certs n he said hed prefer if i was near the end on my pregnancy but if im not able or under stress then by all means hes no prop at all so will see how it goes, cant wait now he was really positive n i said hopefully tis a good sign that although i wasnt due until today the test i did at home were really strong compared to last time i was 3 days late n faint. come on baby listen to ur mother!!stay there n grow! poor child!dosent know what its in for

mom2djp id say little man will be spoilt rotten n rightly so this xmas! enjoy hun all the excitment is lovely, wait til nxt year he'll be runnin to the tree for his pressies!

thanks girls! its mad sometimes like today i dont feel pregnant but its early yet n no bleeding so all is good so far did any of ye cramp alot at the start?like period cramps?i get some sometimes n i know its normal i worry if i dont get them lol!
just back from doc, was talkin to the antenatel clinic this morning the doc wanted me to ring them n the midwife/nurse there said to get blood tests done for rubella n versella as a child in my room has a really bad rash on his face n threw up this morning. no1 knows what it is, so i excplained this to my doc n he checked if im ok for the rubella n veresella aslo told him ive had chicken pox n german measles as a child so im grand for them, but theres loads of other vireses that could harm a unborn baby so im out on certs til after xmas so that went down at work like a lead balloon but i dont care my baby comes first.

Your doing whats best for you and baby hunni so don't worry about the people in work! But I know the feeling when it comes to work! I work in a creche and my boss is away on holidays till after xmas so no one is allowed be sick! My back is aching me and you know your self in childcare you do need to be doing some lifting and bending down so it's a bloody nightmare in work this week! mind yourself hunni relax and enjoy Christmas xxx

same here mines way til d middle of jan, ill propably be murdered but my baby comes first hun go to ur doc, when ya finished up for xmas? i ws using volterol on my back after a nasty fall but cant use that now my doc was sayin maybe a deep heat pack or warm hot water bottle get the other girls to do the lifting for u doll

Hey hon I had a few little pinchy cramps down low at the side of my pelvis from about 5-7 weeks.. It kinda eased off then. I was gettin worried cos was afraid my symptoms were disappearing but today again now I'm feeling sick. Sore boobs, nausea and sorry if tmi but lots of gas!
I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Supposed to go hear heartbeat at 13 weeks. Feels like ages away still!

Lovemylilbean - try tiger balm for easing your aching back! I have issues with my pelvis from a fracture & get alot of pain in my hip....I used volteral too before I got pregnant but Dr told me not too but he said tiger balm was fine to use & it works wonders too!! Warm baths in the evening also help to ease the tension in your back!

hopefully ill get it now hun the doc said i mightnt get it depends on the hosp, fingers crossed, i went in to work today santa came to the creche so i knew twud be busy, n the sick child wasnt in my room today so twas grand plus id work experience girl with me all day so the heavy lifting etc was done for me twas grand shattered now though, decided im going to go out on certs early maybe feb until the baby comes
