As part of our initial research for a new television documentary, RTÉ would like to hear from expectant mothers who are due their babies in the first few months of 2012 (Jan/Feb/Mar). If that is you, or someone you know, we would really like to hear your story. The programme we’re making will look at the personal stories of expectant mothers, therefore we’re interested in hearing from women of all ages and would like to find out about you and your plans for the coming birth, and generally any other information you would like to share e.g. Is this is your first child? How do you feel about becoming a mother? How do you feel about having a baby in Ireland in 2012? Was this a planned pregnancy? Are you having a hospital birth or home birth? What are your hopes for the future? etc. Please email us at docresearch@rte.ie and one of our researchers will be in touch. Any information you share at this stage will be used purely as part of our research into the topic of pregnancy and birth, however we may wish to make contact with you again at a later stage of the production process.
