Oh welcome to my world pet....Ive been feeling like this for the past week :( Havent actually been sick at all but the constant sick feeling is driving me mad! Ive found eating crackers before I get up helps a bit & get out of bed slowly! Bananas help me a bit too but all I can really eat is yoghuts & mashed potato!
Cant imaging having to work in a hairdressers with all the strong smells :( You poor pet! Im putting off getting my highlights done until I feel a bit better as I dont want to be sick at the hairdressers!

Oh doll. I feel yer pain! I was violently ill from week 6 up until week 17!! Two hospital admissions and weight loss of 18 lbs later and I finally started being able to eat again! It was, honestly, the hardest time of my life to that point! As for the nausea - you say that you feel if you get sick that it'll get better. Well I was constantly throwing up and it didnt make my nausea any better but I suppose everyones different. Main thing is to stay hydrated!! Find foods that work for you! I tried all the usual remedies, ginger biccies, ginger ale, travel sickneas bands. My gp told me that flat 7up would be good.for.keeping me hydrated, less harsh on the poor tummy. Plus the sugar will give you a bit of an energy boost if you are in need if it! What helped me was sucking on a rich tea biccie in bed before getting up! Try steer clear of super strong smells, easier said than done but they'll make it worse. And another tip is don't force.yourself to eat if you dont think you can stomach it cause its bound to come back up!
Hope you feel better soon hun x

But we can console ourselves by remembering its all gonna be worth it when we hold our babies in our arms! Its definitely a lot easier to remember that at this stage but its rotten in the early weeks cause you dont want to be telling people yer sick and the reason why so you definitely dont get the sympathy you deserve! Hopefully it will blow over for ya soon doll and it will all become a distant memory! xxx

I feel like Ive become a hermit because I feel so sick :( I dont want to tell everyone Im pregnant yet but Im so sick that my skin is grey & Im thin looking from not being able to eat much.....I dont know what to tell them, like you cant have a tummy bug for 3 weeks!! So rather than deal with it Ive just been staying at home alot, havent seen my friends at all (except for one girl) and my family live in Dublin so I dont see them! Thank God Ive got the dog for company otherwise Id go insane!! Hope I feel better next weekend coz DH's friends are comming to visit us & its one of the local girls hen partys on Sat too!! Gonna use the excuse of having visitors to just go for awhile & drive so they wont say anything on the drinking!

I no i feel terrible for lying. I havent even told my mother i feel so bad. Like you marcs mrs i hav had a tummy bug for the last 3 weeks. Im wondering are people kinda guuessin now, or is it in my head.Im takin it so easy its a discrase. I have terrible runny nose at night. Like last friday it was so bad i was sneezing so much i woke up and my throat was raw. Took a soother and it turned my tummy in like 2 mins. So that went out the window. I usually would take Zitrex but read the instuction last night and ya cant take when pregnant. NOT HAPPY.

Poor you. I had m/s from week 6 up until about wk 13. It's a killer, morning noon and night. In between it all i had a wedding and a family get together. Couldn't even do the grocery shopping without wanting to puke in the aisles. I found that very bland food and milk helped me through it. Rice crackers also first thing in the morning with nothing else on them or ready brek (can't get much blander than that for breakfast). Ice cold milk also helped, much more than a glass of water. It will pass in time, make sure you keep hydrated and do eat, even it's only small portions of food. Cheese on crackers also worked for me, and i wouldn't be a lover of cheese, but it was still food. Hope you're feeling better soon, and rest when you can.
