Positive opk!!

Hi girlies,

well, as the title suggests, I got my first positive opk today! I've recently started taking tablets for my thyroid so they seem to have regulated my cycle and everything is working as it should! :woohoo :woohoo

I have been so worried that I haven't been OV'ing and to know now that I am on cd17/cd18, I am just over the moon. :happydance At least now I feel like I have a fair chance of conceiving!

Does anyone know whether you OV the day you get the positive or the day after. My chart thing that I've been using has marked tomorrow in as m possible ovulation day? Anyone know about this?? :thanks

Oh, and :babydust :babydust :babydust to all ttc! ;)

As far as I know it's supposed to be within 24 hours of getting a positive on an OPK so get down to DTD as soon as you can :-)

Yay!!! Woohoo! Thats great news hun! I think a +OPK would mean you should be O-ing sometime within the next 24-48 hours but I'm not sure! Great news on the +OPK petal :)

AAw, thanks everyone! I felt so relieved yesterday to know everything is working. Hubby got in from work at 9.45pm and he's here beside me still working. He is absolutely wrecked so I would say there'll be no more DTD tonight cos he's too tired. But sure now that I know I'm OVing, there is always next month if it doesn't work out this time around! :D

Haha, yeah, thanks! ;) Starting to get confused now though cos my temperature rose the day of the +OPK and then dipped below the coverline the two days after. Not so sure now whether I have OV'd or not? It's so conufusing!! Grrr!

Thanks ladies, appreciate it. ;) Do you all think I OV'd though? My temp is meant to spike after OV, not dip. But this is day 2 after the +OPK, so maybe it'll spike tomorrow and I haven't OV'd yet?! My BBT chart and +OPK don't seem to make sense to me. If anyone is on countdowntopregnancy, you might be able to view my chart. I am so confused!!
