Preganant missies/Mammies...
Hi
I have a question for you, if you don't mind.... Have any of you had implantation bleeding and if so, what was it like? Did you have any light cramping with it??
Thanks in advance!

Oh right, and do you mind me asking if you had any bleeding at all with that? I have had light cramping and yesterday I had a pinkish discharge which turned brownish (sorry if this is tmi) today. Still waiting on my AF since I stopped the pill at the start of September. If it is implantation bleeding (which it probably isn't), it probably wouldn't show on a test till Fri or Saturday!

Thanks chellebaby for the info. I felt a bit light headed on thurs but that could have been dehydration either. I think I'm looking into it too much.

Yup exact same as MarcsMrs and chellebaby. Had AF like cramping but no bleeding. A friend of mine had light spotting around the time of implantation, she said it was like the start of her AF (in fact she was so sure it was her AF that she didn't realise she was PG until the following month when she missed her AF!) but just lasted a couple of hours.

Thanks Babymakes3. This ttc stuff would wreck your head!
I'll try not to get my hopes up. Thanks for the info, it's good to talk to real people about it. I can search and search on the internet but for every 'fact' I find, there is another 'fact' to contradict it! Maybe it's just my AF, even that would be something positive! So afraid I won't be able to conceive, I've had serious irregular periods before I started the pill, have a bit of an underactive thyroid and have had two procedures: a LLETZ to remove a polyp and a laser to burn away cells. Am so paranoid that a bfp is a long way away, yet a part of me is hopeful that every little thing means I'm preggers!
I'll just have to keep practising till I get it right!

Re: Preganant missies/Mammies...
Of course we're all a little paranoid that when we do start TTC that we won't be able to conceive! Hubby and I were convinced that was gonna happen to us - after almost a decade together and no "happy accidents" and I was on and off the pill like a yo-yo so you'd think I would've gotten "caught" but nothing. I even went to my GP before we started trying and she said I was thinking too much! I came off the pill to start TTC in March 2010 but then we set our wedding date for the following May so TTC was put on pause. Got married in May and went on HM and completely didn't even think about the possibility of getting PG straight away - carried on life as normal when I came home, went jogging and drinking and had the odd social smoke too and then just after we got back home I got my BFP! Didn't think it could happen on our first actual try - even though I'd been off the pill for over a year to let my body settle back into a routine I still didn't expect it to happen immediately! I also had a LLETZ and extremely heavy AF's while off the pill, was seeing a Gynae for ages to determine a reason for the heaviness!
Try not to think about things, I've noticed with myself, friends and the girls here that it most often than not happens when you're not expecting it to and when you're not analysing every little symptom! Hope you get that BFP soon hun

Re: Preganant missies/Mammies...
I've had LLETZ twice pet. And countless abnormal smears. We were very lucky now I have to say. Came off pill in July. Had regular periods from then on. 27 days religiously. Like yourself I was totally paranoid I'd be waiting ages for a BFP. In July and august I recorded my basal body temperature and charted and used OPK's. The whole works. Then I went back to work in sept and it all went out the window! Got my BFP last sat. Totally unexpected! Try relax and not think about it! I know it's hard but it seems to do the trick!!

Hope you either get your AF or a BFP soon
I'm the same - the waiting is a killer. My AF was due on Friday but I've been late the last few months so am expecting it to come any day now. Have had spotting but AF still hasn't fully come

Re: Preganant missies/Mammies...
Thanks mom2djp, for your reply. Just thinking though, If you were pregnant, that wouldn't be implantation bleeding, would it? Because implantation happens about a week after an egg is fertilised so at 7 to 8 weeks, it must have been a different type of bleed. But good to know that even though that happened so late on for you, everything was ok.
