I still dress my 4 year old and 2 and half year old up on the changing table!! My two are lazy pups, the elder fella takes forever to get dressed if I leave him to it and the younger fella wouldn't be able for dressing himself at all and is still in nappies so it's well used in this house! It's also a big chest of drawers so all ds2's clothes are in it.. I also spent big on my travel system and went with the bugaboo and it's going to be used again for no.3 come July so it's almost 5 years on the go with no trouble to it and I never bought a lightweight stroller in it's place. I've found it brilliant!

I also am another one that likes the changing table. Find it much easier. We got one second hand from my sil. Play mat is great for tummy time and our lo also loves the bouncer, both were got as presents. I also got the angelcare monitor as a present and love it. And I actually really like the moses basket. Will go from that to cot. Actually now that I think about it all the above were christmas presents off different family members so I did well :-D also got an avent electric steriliser second hand from my brother who was done with it and it's great.

I have a Tomee tippie microwave one and its grand. I use it with cold water tablets for nights away too.
Meant to also say the angelcare monitor was one of my best buys. I love it and the peace of mind it gives you is unreal

Baby2015 we used an Avent microwave steriliser first time around and a Tommee tippee electric steriliser this time and I much prefer the electric one. The electric one takes 6 bottles whereas the microwave one only took 4.

My absolute best buy was my uppababy cruz, it's the little sister of the vista. I was so sad to have to replace it with a double. I'm still using it for dd to sleep in when we're in my mams house but I would love to be using it all the time.

We're using the tommee tippee bottles so I'm not sure if you could use other bottles in it. You probably can as long as they are the same length as the tommee tippee ones IYKWIM... I just had a check for you and the Avent bottles definitely fit it too :)

I have the tommee tippee electric steriliser it's great & I use the mam bottles now & they fit no bother. I've friends who have used it with other brands too. It's quite tall so it takes most bottles. It was also handy when I was expressing I'd just throw all the bits in.

Hi All,

My partner and I are expecting our first and Im really starting to stress out about all this stuff:) At the moment we are trying to decide and a pram/buggy for the newborn.

We have a small hatchback car and def cannot afford to change at the moment so were were thinking of getting the icandy peach 3. It seems to get good reviews and also seems small and compact. Our only concern is we have heard mixed reviews regarding the size of the seat when the child reaches toddler age.

JUst wondering if anyone had any views/recommendations.

p.s hope Im not thread hijacking.

Hi lul321, we've decided to go with the iCandy peach 3 also, the cheapest place I found was EuroBaby €1200 for the complete package incl car seat maxi cosy & base, & I was even at the baby fair yesterday & no one was doing it cheaper not even iCandy themselves! also the girl in Euro baby put it on my car boot to test it & it all fit in even the carry cot with the frame i was surprised because I can't get my sisters bugaboo in there! I have a new shape Ford Fiesta so a small little hatch back also

We were initially gonna buy an I candy. My friend had one,but her wee fella looked really squashed and uncomfortable in it,she's not using it anymore and he's just turned 1. The price put me off too, shop around, there's a lot of deals to be had out there. We got ours in a sale worked out 400 euro off it. Its the chicco urban and I'm loving it. I'm walking 4 miles a day with it,and its easy to take apart for the car :).

True. It's expensive for a changing bag but it's something you'll use a lot.
I see it as an investment.
Or so I tell myself. :D

We got a cosatto changing unit as a loan of a friend and I absolutely love it. Didn't even want one but now I wouldn't do without. It's so handy for storing all of the lo bits and bobs.we are even thinking we will buy our own when our friends decide to drop another one and we give it back :)

Also huge fan of the grobags (and groegg), our lo kicks off any blankets put over her. And they are so snuggly looking...They should make adult versions haha.

Clevascoop is a great invention all together! ! Makes bottle making so much quicker and easier.

Muslins. ..Wouldn't be without then!! Great for spews and spits!

Jungle gym/playmat. Our lo won't sit in her bouncer..she gets bored and roars crying lol. But she loves her playmat and stares up at all the toys...wacking them unintentionally!! :)
