Hey just want opinion please. Im due my 2nd baby and my 1st i ended up having section due to no progression and few other things at the end however i want to elect a section this time without having to go tro all that and b rushed etc. Will my doctor let me . Is this not my right. I know it an operation ive being there .

I think only your doctor can really tell you if it's possible or not. I would recommend trying to see him/ her to go through your options as soon as you can. It might give you a bit of peace of mind.

Your doc should let you opt for an elective based on that. My doc did on my 2nd pregnancy. Didn’t progress on my first at all...didn’t dilate 1 mm! I had gd and was insulin dependant so couldn’t go passed my due date. They can’t induce after c section. I opted to leave it as long as I could in the hope of a natural birth (didn’t really mind) but I went into labour, walked to floors for about 20 hrs- again zero dilation so ended up a c section again. Was absolutely exhausted!!! This time (please god) I’ll be booking in for the earliest possible date they can give me cos NO WAY am I going through all that again!
