She doesn't get a lot of wind being bf'd, we notice a huge difference if we do need to top up on formula, very windy. It's mad, the difference!

Not sure about breastfeeding but finn cluster fed coming up to bed time. I couldn't get him down until after 12 most nights its only now hes going earlier. He use to sleep until 5/6 now he's going to sleep about 11 the feeding at 4 then 8.
In thd first few weeks.its very hard to get a routine. He's only kinda starting one now. Although I'm going to try feeding him at 5/6 then 7/8 put him down and dream feed at 10/11 and see will he sleep a bit longer. I dunno if you can do this with bf but I assume so. But again at this early stage its hard to grt a routine.

I got finns pps too. When I registered she said they'd automatically be put through for child allowance but she did say something about a form coming out about where they'd put the money into.

Tip for anyone bfing.
On Friday night the oh looked after night feeds with EBM.so when I woke up after about 6hours sleep I was SO full. My right boob was so full and sore it woke me up when I rolled over! On the outer side there was a hot red patch, I was worried it was mastitis! Throughout the day I pumped and fed as much as possible. Pumped very gently on the lowest setting as to try not to over stimulate. Last night before bed I was having a chamomile tea and I got it into my head that the tea bag might help! I squeezed it out and put it on a breast pad and slept with it directly on my skin.
Like new today!

Hi how's everyone doing happy bank holiday wkend hope the weather stays good for it yesterday was so sunny we went for a lovely Walk the fresh she was just lovely. My LO is doing good last week she was a bit all over the place this week we starting to get the nights good we put her down at half 10 then wakes Half 2 for Feed and dwn then again until Hal 6 or 7 delighted. The night feed can take up to an hr and a Half to get her back dwn but getting there with it. Hope it continues.
Was at doc during the wk she has a small bit of reflux but we have tilted her mattress and it has helped a lot.

Hi sounds like you're doing great!
Our lo used to have no spit up after feeds but she's staying to now. Is that the same as what your baba has. Tilting the mattress sounds like a good idea.
I ordered reusable bamboo breast pads and they've just arrived! Got the pack of 12 on Amazon. So soft. They are bigger than disposables but I think that's coz there's no adhesive. Less waste!

Ya spitting up she spits up a lot on some bottles an starts roaring crying but tilting the mattress has done wonders now for night time. I just rolled a small towel and put under mattress to give it a small tilt has really helped.
Very good mini did you go ahead and use the reusable nappys I remember you on about them.

No we didn't get them, yet, still would like to. I think she would have been too small anyway as she was a month early. Going thru our little stash of disposables and going to look into it again.

No way!
How old is your little one now?
I was convinced I got mine when Willow was 4 weeks, the bleeding had stopped at that stage and then came back but different, hard to explain. Was very light tho.

She's been screaming the place down most of the day, i'm wrecked. Can't believe it's nearly 5 and hubby will be home soon, I feel like we're still getting up!
She's only quiet in my arms! Bad habit!

She's 6 weeks Sunday. I stopped bleeding after 4 wks so had just a week in between mental. People talked about these gushes and my god they are gushes pads need changing so often.
We have days like that too where she refuses to nap but in my arms hard to get a thing done thing.

How's everyone doing?

Willow is flying, 10 weeks 5 days old!
Haven't weighed her in ages but she must be nearly a stone! Growing out of all her clothes! Seemed like forever for her to fit into her newborn clothes coz she was born at 36 weeks and now she's nearly out of 0-3months!
I'm making the move to cloth nappies! Still in disposables at night but trying to getting grips with the daytime routine. Definitely worth the effort.
Also just incase ye haven't heard of it check out the ecoegg for laundry. It's amazing. No more chemical detergent! And so soft!

Anyway just thought I'd check in with the Aprilers and those of us who just couldn't wait and jumped into March!

I'm really tempted to take off until Jan but not sure how it'd work finance wise.

2nd successful night in cloth!
Slept 11 thru til 8.30
I had to get up at 4 to pump coz I'm used to feeding during the night and was fit to explode!

The creche was holding a place,a neighbour highly recommended it and knows the owner well, her 3 kids went there over the last 10 years or so, still do after school sometimes and she mentioned me to the owner so we went for a tour. Peace of mind to have a place like that. And it's hard to get places for 4 days as they can't fill the place the other day but they offered 4 days straight away.
