pelvic Floor's not so good.

Postby mamabelles » Mon Apr 20, 2015 9:56 pm

Hi girls
I had my son 9 months ago and to be honest my pelvicfloor hasn't recovered at all. Im trying to walk and run afew times a week and every time I try to run I just leak with every step. When I need the loo, I need it almost immediately. Its soooo fustrating!! Im afraid that when I go to the doc they will just tell me to keep doing pelvic floor excercises which ive been trying for the last 9months and really struggel with them. Ive never been able to do them properly anyway. I know there are toning machines but I dont really know anything about them. any help or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

This might not be terribly helpful mamabelles but you should definitely see your gp as there is such a thing as pelvic prolapse. This could be causing your "leaks". However I am not sure if the only solution is more kegels...i've heard of pelvic physio. Perhaps you can look into that. hope it gets better.
