I’m breastfeeding aswell Anne. It’s going better for me this time around thankfully! We had a bit of a fright with the little man when he was 5 weeks. He caught a cold from our daughter and we ended up in paeds a&e one night. Thankfully he was fine and recovered well.hes getting so big. Had his first jabs yesterday! 9 weeks have flown by!

Finding the breastfeeding tough to be honest we didn't have the best start. She wouldn't latch the first 24hours so a midwife gave me a shield which worked. Haven't been able to feed her without them since, now I think it has affected my supply as her weight is only going up very slowly. I've started expressing and I don't seem to be getting enough for each feed. I'm so disappointed as it's something I really wanted to do. Glad it's going well for you duchess the poor little thing ye must have gotten a fright. Time is flying by, she was a month yesterday.

Lovely baby bc, it’s great when they start getting good stretches of sleep! Had a nightmare of a weekend. My dd (2) fell and fractured her leg and is in a cast. Poor little pet. Right in front of me, I was feeding babs and she just slipped and fell awkwardly. She’s off her feet for at least the next 4 weeks. But in fairness to her she’s in great form mostly and is as brave. So proud of her.

She also has a cold so we’ve had a very stressful week in anod out of a&e and midoc. But on the mend thankfully. Another 5 weeks off her feet though so it’s going to be a rough few weeks.

She’s much better now thankfully. She’s getting over the cold and is very good to stay off the leg. Starting to run out of ideas to keep her busy but it will be grand, I may get on to Pinterest :)

Hi girls! How are ye all? My lil one is 5 months old now. Starting to roll over and just started her on solids last week. Getting a full night sleep (most nights) again! I am back to work in 4 weeks and can’t believe how fast the time went!!
How are ye all doing?

Hi south glad to hear you are doing well. My little girl is almost 4 &half months the time is just flying by.. I'm very anxious about going back to work it's honestly all I'm thinking about can't get it off my mind. My gp has suggested to take extra time off so I'm thinking about it.. apart from that we are doing great I'm obsessed with her it's amazing.. still to sleep through the night but we are getting around 5/6 hours then bottle then maybe another 4 hours so it's ok

Its very hard to think about going back to work Baby. I will be doing part time hours but its still hard to leave them when they are so small. Definitely take extra time off if you can!! Especially with the summer so near.
The time flies, i found once i started the solids it really helped with the longer stretch at night.
Every day she seems to be learning something new. Its fab. My other dd adores her so its great.
I still have some baby weight to lose but i just find it hard to keep motivated.

So funny after I said she hadn't slept a full night yet she went and slept 11 hours straight last night I was waking up checking on her every few mins couldn't believe it. Mot sure if tonight will be the same she is very snuffly think getting a cold.. I'm excited to start her on solids will wait another few weeks don't think she is ready just yet
Yeah I'm not ready to go back I really thought I would be ok with it when the time came but I'm almost panicking every time I think or talk about it! I'm quite close to having 1 stone gone it's hard but I'm motivated at the moment just need to try get another 1 or 2 off me to be back feeling good about myself!! It's a tough game isn't it

Hi South and baby all going good here can't believe how quickly time is going. My little girl is 3 and a half months now. Sleeping till about 4 or 5 each morning then wakes for a feed. Baby def take the extra time if u can 6 months is way to short. I don't plan on going back until November all going well. Getting there with the weight breastfeeding definitely helps
