Hi Mrscupcake...I kind of want to join you but I'm nearly afraid of jinxing things! We did ivf so it's hard to belive that it's actually happening after so much waiting and disappointment. Technically I'm due 1st of may but thats only 3 days behind you! I'm in for a beta blood test on Monday. Have you had any bloods done?

Sheltie of course I remember you too. Your due February. Amazing! Congratulations to you too! How is your pregnancy going? xx

Hi Lorraine. Congratulations! Thanks for joining me. I'm also very nervous. I'm so glad to hear ivf worked for you and I'm keeping my fingers, toes and everything crossed for a sticky bean for you. How many rounds did you have?
I used to be on the Longer term ttc train myself for my first. We had him through our second IUI. Before iui we tried 4 cycles of folical tracking with clomid and triggers which didn't work but we where so lucky that iui worked the second time.
I didn't go for any bloods but I think you automatically do for when it's ivf. Wishing you the best of luck for Monday.
I'd say your just in shock.
Do you have any symptoms?

It's our second round mrscupcake...first round was in June and we didn't get to transfer on that so I'm absolutely over the moon that it's worked this round. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much before Monday but it's hard not to be excited! Did you do iui for this baba? Congratulations by the way!
I've no symptoms really had sore boobs for a bit earlier in the week and a bit last week but that's died off now. Also some pinching/stitch-like niggles but nothing too crampy thank god! Bit emotional but that's a fairly normal state for me on this journey!! Started crying this morning when dh asked if I wanted to be called mam, mom, mammy or mommy!! How about you? Any symptoms?

I hear ya on the not getting hopes up. The early days are so scary and an emotional time. That's really sweet that your husband asked you what you want to be called. I balled my eyes out in work this morning because I made a mistake (not a bad mistake or anything).
I had implantation bleeding for 3 days from 7 to 10dpo but I taught it was my normal spotting. I always spot for up to a week before af. I had actually booked an appointment with my gp to discuss getting progesterone or maybe the ball rolling again on fertility treatment because I didn't want to go through another 2 years ttc.
I also had pulling, mild cramping and little niggles like the day before af would arrive. That has all passed now. For the last few days my belly is really bloated. On my last pregnancy I had morning (24hour) sickness pretty bad. It started bang on 5 weeks. I wonder will it be the same this time around. In fact since I've found out I'm pregnant I've eaten everything I want because with morning sickness I couldn't eat anything. I even ordered a chopper lastnight lol

I'm finding that I'm starving around 11am when that wouldn't normally be the case and again around 10pm when usually my dinner is enough for me! I'very had to take my lunch at 11.30 twice this week!! I'll be a tonne weight if I keep it up!!

Hmmm I’m not really sure if I’m ready to join you ladies but maybe in a couple of weeks. I’m due the end of April as it stands. This is number 2. I had a baby earlier this year

Hi Yvonne congratulations! I know I'm still a bit iffy about actually being on a baby train but it's nice to feel positive about things at this stage. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and I kinda feel that if things go wrong again at least I can say that I acknowledged the pregnancy and that means a lot to me! How are you feeling? I think I read on another train that you had some mc's? How are the anxiety levels?

Thanks a mill Lorraine. I’m actually feeling very good now and positive really . There is nothing I can really do to change outcome. Yes I have absolutely no problems getting pregnant but I did have problems holding on them. This was first month of not trying, not preventing so it is a big surprise really . Congratulations to you on your lovely news .

Ah that's great you're feeling good. I'm nearly waiting for the panic and worrying to start but for the moment I'm feeling calm and positive. Have my beta test on Monday so someone may remind me of all this calmness and positivity on Sunday night!! It's just about getting through each step at a time. Are you on any progesterone support or anything? Did they find any reasons for not holding the pregnancies? I'm so sorry you went through that...it must have been awful.

Hi girls. Just getting back online now. It's been a busy weekend.
Yvonne your welcome to join us when ever you feel ready. And congratulations.
I'm so sorry to hear of your previous miscarriages girls xx
Lorraine how did your blood test go yesterday?

I took a clear blue yesterday because I wanted to see if there was progression and there was. It said 3+weeks yeay! I'm 5 weeks and 2 days today. My 18 month old woke a 3.20am and I couldn't get him back to sleep till 5. Then I couldn't sleep after that because he was in beside us. Wreaked tired today!

Just got my results back and it was a good strong positive! I'm delighted! I'll be getting a 7week scan with the clinic on 14th of Sept so that's the next hurdle!!
That's great about the 3+weeks mrscupcake! It's lovely to see progression like that! How are you feeling?

That's amazing! Big relief! Roll on the 14th September!
I'm feeling grand most of the time. I'm not getting enough sleep at the moment so I'm pretty tired and work is getting me down a bit but I think my hormones are a bit out of wacky too so that's adding to it all. No morning sickness yet but when I get very hungry I can feel a bit sick.
How about you?

Wrecked tired too...especially this time of the evening. Can't imagine contending with a smallie too! How old is your little boy?
And I feel a bit unsettled after I eat...not quite like I'm going to be sick but just not right if you know what I mean!

He's 18 months old now and a live wire but a whole lot of fun!
I feel exactly the same after I eat only I can't quite describe it but you hit the nail on the head.
Thanks Yvonne. It was a good relief to see the 3+
