June/July/Aug 2019 babies

Postby LydiaHopeful » Sun Nov 18, 2018 11:40 am

Hi mammies to be, just got positive test on Friday reckon I'm due about end of July or start of August. I'm not even four weeks yet so thought I'd start a new post for summer babies see if anyone else is in first trimester.

I was part of this forum on my first baby in 2015 and made a lot of great friends, it doesn't seem like its as popular as it was back then . I had a chemical in July so I'm already worrying about this pregnancy although they are totally different it's hard not to have it in back of your head

I'll start it off anyway

Hi Lydia, congrats on the bfp! I'm a bit nervous about joining the group, so think I'll hold off and just observe for a while. I'm 6w 3d today, based on date of ovulation, but I have very few symptoms and am afraid to get my hopes too high. Hopefully we'll get a few more summer due dates on here soon!

Weredoingthis just wanted to pop on and say I didn't have any symptoms til nearly the end of week 7 so maybe don't panic yet. We did an early scan at 8 weeks and saw a lovely little heartbeat and then I started to feel pregnant! I haven't been desperately sick thank God but the tiredness is real and I'm very selective about food at the moment it's not everything I can stomach so hoping that passes soon. Best of luck xx

Oh weredoingthis I understand the anxiety I have all fingers crossed that I even make it to week six, I had a chemical in July so terrified this will go the same way. Only four weeks so I'm holding in here hoping this will stick .

I suggest you get an early scan to give yourself piece of mind , it's worth the money xx

Thanks ladies. I've booked an early scan for next week so hopefully that will provide reassurance and I can enjoy the fact that I don't feel poorly!

I got 2-3 weeks on clear blue this morning. I'm 4+2 I'd give my right arm to skip to 8weeks it feels so far away from me. I find the worry is unbearable. I hope your scans go OK girls it's lovely /crazy seeing them bouncing around on the screen

Hi ladies, think I'll jump on this train. Got my first ever BFP this week!it's my first so I'm excited and nervous at same time. Think I'm only 4 weeks based ovulation. Booked into doctors on Wed morning for confirmation. I'm already starting to feel the morning sickness, it's not terrible but definitely feeling queasy. Didn't expect it to start so soon. Any tips from those who've suffered before, pretzels and nibbling on snacks during the day seems to help keep it settled.

Hi ladies, I’m 5 weeks tomorrow - did a test last Friday, and went to the doctor on Tuesday. It’s my first ever time being pregnant, so this is all very crazy! Am very queasy, but other than that all is good I hope!

It’s so nice to talk about it here, we’ve decided not to tell family for another couple of weeks. How are ye all coping with that? And talks of Christmas nights out etc?

Thank you!!

Welcome mum2b2019 lovely to see people joining , the support is always nice particularly when you can't talk about it . I won't tell family for a while I'm going to try get to eight weeks at least. Feel I'm showing already so don't know how I'll get around that !!

I can't remember on last pregnancy any of this I am definitely feeling alot of stretching and cramping around my uterus area and I'm all swollen out under neath my belly button. I have terrible insomnia , up at five in morning it's probably just me worrying that's waking me up. I really want this baby and I worry something will happen. Haven't gone to doctor yet but I'll book in next week as that will be five weeks

Mum2b2019, it's so hard not to tell everyone we meet! We are trying to hold off until 8 weeks as well Lydiahopeful. I'm so nervous every time I have a small cramp or rumble in my tummy, I just want everything to go ok. I have about a million questions for my GP when I go in this week. What is the earliest they do scans here?? (I'm from US so maternity health system is totally new to me here).

I think it's 8weeks impatiently waiting you can get it done privately from.I'm trying to remember on my first I think I got one done at 10weeks and hospital was done at 12 . Im glad we paid for the early one I thought they were lovely and one in hospital was more just get in and get out and wouldn't let me see the screen . Especially for first it's nice when they take the time that first scan I'll always remember

Congrats sparkle really am delighted for you. My last af was 32 days ago so we are close honestly I'm showing already it might not be actual baby but it's something . I'm small so don't know if uterus just remembered what to do and it's more obvious but I look same as I did at 12 weeks with my last baby . I'm very round and swollen . Going to sort out doc visit next week as I'm feeling bit more confident now after getting through last week. Still a nerve-wracking time

Congrats Sparkle16, we're due on the same day! I'm going to the doctor on Wednesday to confirm that. Anyone have any tips on having a cold while pregnant. I have a doosy of a head cold and feeling very rotten, can't really take any medication so i'm suffering big time. Hoping i'm getting over it in the next few days. Whole office has it :( Also dreading the Christmas nights out, so excited to tell everyone but its also so early....

Sparkle16 have nausea on and off during the day but nothing too bad. Don't know if it's morning sickness or from this cold though to be honest. Boobs are a little sore as well but more just uncomfortable in a bra than actually sore. Hoping that I don't get any bad morning sickness when we have to travel. We're telling my parents at christmas, would love to have a scan but I think it's too early to get one before we head to the states.

Congrats ladies!! My EDD is 27th July 2019
For an early scan, do you have to referred by your doctor or can you just book one yourself?
