Great that's not too long to wait. What hospital are u with? It's mad they grow so much in a few weeks. The first thing I said to the midwife when she said that's it's head was that's massive!! Pics are really clear too. Heartbeat was thumping along so much faster than before. It's a lovely thing to hear

I’m with Mayo University, oh I’m so excited for it Dotty, we haven’t heard the heartbeat yet only seen it on the screen so I’m hoping they use the Doppler at this scan so I can hear it

Hi ladies, just reading your posts and wishing ye all healthy pregnancies. I had my lg in dec 17. It’s a mental time of year to have a baba. She was due Xmas eve so if any of ye get dates that close to Xmas remember plan your Xmas whatever way you want it. We had everyone come to us and all the family did the food. We had every scenario covered and she was born 22nd so was home in time for Santa but was very sore so another reason to be where you want to be as that Xmas will be a bit of a blur I’m afraid but very magical.

Is anyone else peeing all the time? Last day or 2 I constantly need to go and it's just little amounts. Wondering if I have a uti as I'm so uncomfortable. Gonna go ask in a chemist and hopefully won't need antibiotics. Typical while on holiday

Dotty I remember being like that around that stage too and being convinced constantly that I had a UTI but I never had. My friend had one and had no symptoms at all so you just never know. It could also be that baby is kicking down in that direction and causing the sudden urge, thats what it ended up being with me, when I could feel movement properly then it was often a punch or a kick right down low, cool but kinda take you by surprise!!! But in hindsight I think maybe thats what I was feeling in the earlier weeks, just a milder version... drink loads and loads of water anyways, Im sure the pharmacist over there could dip your urine for infection? Or isnt it possible to buy the strips so you can dip it urself??

Thanks brownie, I was wondering if it was the baby ad it's kinda pressure really more than anything. Went to a local doc who sent off urine so will find out tomorrow. They are very unwilling to give pregnant ladies antibiotics. Drank a ton of water today and feeling a good bit better actually. Thanks for the reassurance!!

Hi Jess,

Would u believe I'm in a greek hospital with a catheter in as my bladder basically stopped working. Have to stay in tonight and see the urologist in the am, it's some kind of holiday here so no one has been working. Bloody typical

Hi ladies,
Went offline for a bit. Dotty I hope u felt better and that you got to enjoy some of your holiday!
Have my scan on Monday, not seen baby yet at all so cannot wait to get to Monday.
Very sick at the moment though, I picked up some kind of flu, lost my voice, sore throat, coughing sneezing! Nightmare!! Hope everyone is doing well x

Finally got some antibiotics for my uti. It's been a complete nightmare. Had to stay in hospital last night and it was a complete kip. Like going back 50 years. Have a catheter in place till tomorrow
Then just finish the course. This holiday has been a bit of a nightmare. Have never been so grateful for vhi in my life! On the plus side I've had lots of scans and bubs is doing well. 15 weeks today.

Rosie hipe your on your mend, it's so horrible being pregnant and sick. Will you be 12 weeks at the scan next week?
