Postby jess121 » Sat Apr 27, 2019 5:26 pm

Hi all , just looking for some due date buddy’s, I am 7 weeks today & we are due our little rainbow baby on 14th of Dec. We had an early scan last week and all looked good, I have hypermemsis but they have me on meds now so feeling a little better although I have nausea all day long I can cope with that, os anyone else die around the same time ?

Hey Yvonne & Dotty , so great to hear from you both,
Dotty massive congrats on your rainbow baby, yes I was over on the long term thread for a long time but took a break as I was finding it difficult, we were actually for to go back to the FC next month but then I got BFP - I think we were in shock for a few weeks, have another scan next week as after 4 MC they are monitoring me closing but Fx this is it for us both , what date are you due xx

Jess I'm so sorry to hear of your Mc's. You must be so nervous. Did the scan help things a bit? What hospital are you with? Hopefully they will keep a close eye on you going forward. I'm due 4th December. How are you feeling?

Thanks Dotty, the scan last week did reassure me a lot, I just had another scan at our EPU this morning and we have a strong heartbeat but the nurse scanning me said I am measuring 4 days earlier I should be 7+2 but I’m measuring 6+5, she said it’s nothing to worry about and they are going to re scan me in 2 weeks but of course now I am worried

I can totally get why your worried, but the dates can be a week either side and all be ok. Especially at this early stage as Well when they are so small. The heartbeat is really the most important thing. I was woth the gp this morning and he said a good strong heartbeat was far more important than dates.

Oh that's great news. Will they see you again before 12 weeks? I'm exhausted, feel nauseous most of the time. Have another scan now at 12 weeks. How are you feeling?

Dotty I am nauseous and exhausted all the time too i could sleep for Ireland, my poor DH not to mention the fact we have BD since I got my BFP, I don’t know what wrong with me, I’m just so scared it might caused mc! I know that sounds daft but I heard that you can have spotting after BD and I’m terrified of that, am I being silly? I have another scan in 2 weeks so I will be 9 weeks then ,
Hi Rosie massive congrats to you & happy & healthy 9 months to you, when are you due my EDD is 14th of Dec x

Congrats Rosie and welcome! The nausea is something else isn't it.
Jess I've barely lifted my head off the pillow today had to call in sick to work. In a total heap. Roll on 2 weeks for your next scan. It's not silly at all regarding bding. God we haven't since before our ivf! Neither do I want to and I'd be a bit afraid aswell. Have told dh we can't to cover myself!

Ha ha I told DH the same Dotty , he wanted to ask the consultant yesterday and I nearly died of embarrassment I managed to talk him out of it!! I’ve told him we can’t safely until all is good at the 12 week scan.. Our poor DH’s but the fear is real! Mind yourself Dotty , how many weeks are you now? I had to phone in last week as well I couldn’t get out of bed with nausea & tiredness.
Rosie how are you feeling?

Oh my god Jess crisis averted if he asked the consultant! I've said 12 weeks too. This is the first day I've taken off so far but feel weirdly guilty. Dh thinks it's amazing I'm so sick. I want to punch him sometimes. I do aswell as id prob worry if I had no symptoms but sometimes it's just relentless. I'm 9 weeka tomorrow and wishing the weeks away

Thanks for all the wishes girls, busy today so that distracts me from the sickness for a bit, I've a feeling this one is going to wreak havoc, I've gotten a mild case of shingles and two swollen irritated eyes! All worth it in the end :)

Oh god Rosie you poor thing, mind yourself x
Dotty I know my DH thinks it’s great I’m sick too as I was not sick on my last, my nausea has eased yesterday & today and that has me in a painc that something might be wrong but I know that symptoms can fluctuate , I’m still feeling very sore bbs , and most of bloating and pressure in my tummy I feel really gassy!! Sorry TMI
Girls I’m just wondering if this is normal, I just looked at my report from my scan at the EPU on Monday and at the end of the page it says Pregnancy of Unknown Viability? Is that bad or is it just that st 7 weeks they can’t say for sure if it’s viable.. I’m stressing over every little thing, they certainly didn’t give me any idication anything was wrong but maybe that’s what they are scanning me again in 2 weeks, oh lord my nerves are gone and I’m only 7 weeks in, I’m wishing the weeks away too Dotty

Jess the midwife told me last week not to worry about symptoms coming and going, she said they always come back. I haven't heard of that with the ultrasound....can you ring them to ask? They definitely would have mentioned it if it was an issue, maybe it's just something admin wise that's on the machine and printed onto the paper? I know it's hard not to worry but if they didn't say anything was wrong that's the biggest and most important thing

Thanks Dotty, I know I am just stressing over every little thing , hope your feeling ok today, the nausea has returned this evening and I am double up with wind cramps I am so bloated it’s not even funny!!
I rang the EPU your right they said on the scan machine they have a drop down box where is says diagnosis and the options are not viable , viable or unknown and she said at this early stage & before 12 weeks they don’t have a 100% way of knowing if it’s viable yet so that’s why it’s unknown - Jesus the stress of it all, she was lovely thought and reassured me that all was ok

Hello Ladies. I’m new to this forum! ☺️ congratulations to you all and best wishes to you for all your pregnancies. I am due in December also but I am unsure of the date. I’m very worried at the moment as I had an early scan last week and I was measuring 10 days less than I thought I was and the doctor mentioned that the heart rate wasn’t where it should be. She mentioned that it may end in miscarriage. I thought I was 8 weeks but measured 6 + 5! I wasn’t sure about posting here but then I thought well I am due in December and hopefully all will be ok! I’m a real worrier also and have very little symptoms. I was the same in my last pregnancy though and now have a healthy little 14 month old!

Glad they put your mind at rest Jess....and that your nausea is back!!! There a so much to constantly worry about. I'm with you on the bloating my stomach went crazy last night too. Thankfully better this morning. I've wa sucking on barley sweets yesterday and it helped a lot with the sickness.
Bouncybaby congrats on your pregnancy, it's a worrying time I know I was in this situation last year and the wait is torture. It's great to remain positive. I really hope it turns out well for you x
