Good luck with the glucose test mrsk. All great with my scan yesterday, thank god. I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow, can’t wait to tell work as it can be a bit physical at times. I’m due the 14th feb!

Congrats Mummys22. I had my scan yesterday and all went well. Due date moved from Feb 20th to Feb 16th so pretty close to you!

Husband is going back overseas on Sunday so that’s when I’ll officially start feeling sorry for myself.

Delighted to hear your scan went well too cherry. And so nice that the hubby was home for it too. How long will he be gone for?

Thank you so much Michelle.

My husband is gone until mid October. My smallest was crying his eyes out today when he learned we can’t drive to Africa.

Cherry just popping in briefly to say a huge congrats and hoping that this is smooth sailing for you from here. You so deserve this after all you went through! Sorry to hear your hubby is missing for a spell and that your little one is so upset. I can’t imagine how it feels to have him so far away for so long even if you’re used to it! Be good to yourself x

Ah cherry, poor little one, they would just break your heart. It must be so hard and especially with the early pregnancy tiredness.
I had the midwife clinic appointment today and she’s trying to get me referred to the high risk clinic because my bp was high on both my other pregnancies.

It’s probably the best time for him to be away. Original plan was I would already have a baby before he went.. then it was having a baby while he was away.. then it was try when he came back. We are extremely lucky the Africa trip paid off!

We told his parents before he left. I suppose it’s just shock but they always look at me as if I met their son last week and I’m 14! They never look happy about it.

They knew about the miscarriage in May, over a year ago now. I told them I was attending a consultant about repeat losses. Surely they knew this was planned!!!

Ah huge congrats cherry I've just spotted your bfp exciting times ahead.. as for the in-laws it's frustrating I've been there first grandchild for them and they didn't care never asked how i was through out entire pregnancy once I had baby they came and seen her once every second week for a month then didn't see her for 6 weeks. They live 5 minutes away and pass my house almost everyday!! Who needs people like that

Morphett, Michelle & Mrs D - thanks so much girls! I'm delighted and feeling so very very lucky to be reaching 16 weeks this Thursday! Sickness is easing slowly too - headaches and heartburn are my new tormentors but I wouldn't change it. Hope you are all doing well. xxx

How is everyone getting on ? I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes unfortunately, I seem to be constantly in the maternity now having appointments.
