That’s tough Olivia. Mine is super clingy but has started to do a few minutes on his own.

We finally got him into his own room and into a big bed. We bought a duvet cover of his favourite programme and he loved it. After a good while of getting up just because he can and lots of tears he has finally accepted the routine and will jump into the bed himself for the first part of the night. We have a gate on the door and he will inevitably come to that shouting a few times a night and someone has to settle him but still.. we get a bit of a break.

Nobody wants to mind him because he cries and shouts Mammy Mammy Mammy. I’m a stay-at-home Mam so he’s fairly used to having me 24/7.

I feel for you! it’s lovely in one way that they are clingy to you but the leg rubbing and flushing while you are on the toilet.. We are just beyond that now in the last month or two.

We would always joke that it was his master plan to make sure he stayed the youngest baby and he worked a 24 hour shift!!

Are there really only four of us on the train? No wonder it’s so quiet!

Hi Ladies, wondering if I can join your train? I’m ttc#2 cd6 cycle #3. Going to try opk this month, can anyone suggest a good one? Hopefully this will lead to my forth pregnancy. I misscarried before and after my little man (19mnths) arrived. D&C last June and very light periods since. Anyone any experience?

Hi Mammy36, welcome to the train!

Sorry for your losses last year. I had a MC last May at about 10 weeks and a few chemicals at the end of the year. I didn’t experience light periods after. Have you spoken to your GP to see if it needs investigating?

For opks I use the 5 pack from dealz for €1.50 which are very sensitive. I find them accurate. The clearblue are expensive so it’s rare that I use them. The purple flashy ones have me driven demented. I’m using the pink ones this time. The Dealz ones have proven to be accurate alongside them.

Mummys36 sorry to hear about your losses. I use cheap opk strips off amazon. The digital ones with the flashy face drive me nuts and they are so expensive!
Currently 8dpo. Not sure what to think. I've no feeling either way. I want to be thinking positively but afraid off the disappointment!
Cherrycola hope you had fun after you positive opk haha

Mummy36, sorry to hear about your losses. I used opks for the first time this month too, I used the dealz ones and got a good positive on them so they are definitely worth purchasing a few packs.
Leanbh I’m 12dpo today, and not feeling much either way as well, a bit of a scratchy throat but doubt that’s a sign! I’m going to test Saturday, but not sure if that’s af due day or not either.

Thank you ladies for your wishes, I was in boots yesterday and went with their own brand for handiness and they were cheap as well compared to clear blue, might get to a dealz at the weekend and get some of theirs as well, tested today and neg but I’m only cd 7. Have fun cherry cola! Hope all works out for everyone over the weekend.

Morning ladies! So I caved and tested this morning and I got a bfp, I’m shocked and delighted. It’s not as strong as the control line but it’s definitely there so fingers crossed all stays good now.

Hi ladies quick question I know I said I wasn’t gonna track it but I said I’d do one just to see cause as i said I don’t think I ovulated this month but I took a pic and the opk the control line is not as dark as it should be it’s dark in the corner and then the rest is lighter I done another one after it just to see and it came out the same does that mean it’s invalid and if so could it be a faulty batxh

Oh that’s a weird one alright Olivia. My sister had a pregnancy test like that that was positive in The end but impossible to know an OPK.

I’m using a few apps this month. Fertility friend is very useful for the calendar but I have found Ovia great for getting in touch with my body. I’ve been logging mood changes, bloatedness, spots, headaches and I think it will be useful to compare next cycle to see what my trend is.

Not sure? I’m a learner at the opk, it says on my boots packet if the control line is not clear, test hasn’t worked properly, don’t know if that’s any help. Can I ask what time of day do you use the opk, I used them around noon last two days after not drinking much all morning and had faint lines, did a bit earlier this morning and no line at all? Is this normal?

Sorry I should add packet says that test line needs to be stronger than control line for LH surge to be present. Maybe I should have waited and got the dealz brand? Are they easier?

I do test in the afternoon and then the evening again it is weird I’ll do another one later and see if it’s the same I think the dealz brand are just as good as any of the other ones and saves you a fortune I’m using Ovia aswell I think that one is better the Flo app I was previously using

Mammy36 I didn't use opk this month but when I do I test a good few times throughout the day because if the surge is short you can easily miss it if you don't test frequently enough.

Olivasmum I'm not sure what to make did your opk
