May TTC train——

Postby lean87 » Fri May 22, 2020 8:06 pm

Hi my lovelies,

Currently trying to get hubby on my side to start ttc number 4 intensely. :)

I have used this forum for my 2youngest munchkins, both of which took between 12-15mths of ttc.

TMI but we never used protection after our last, so you could say we are unofficially trying since she is off the boob and my periods are back (last 12mths)
No sign of any bfp so far anyway, so ready to dig the ov tests out again and do things right.

Would love if someone else wanted to chat.

Ttc no 4
1st month ttc with ov tests

Hi Lean, thanks for starting a train! Hubby and I agreed to start trying again, have not used protection since our baby was born last summer but haven't been trying up to now. I would love another child close in age to our first, so hoping we don't take as long to conceive this time, we were 12 months trying last time. I'm still breastfeeding, but have had 3 periods since Christmas, so think things are getting back on track there.

Best of luck convincing your hubby about number 4! I've already been pushing for #3 and we don't even have #2 yet!! Fingers crossed for baby dust for this train!

Hi Oliviasmum & wearedoingthis!

7years, wow! Fingers tubes and everything crossed for you, it will be faster this time; and it will!
It is heartbreaking, when they ask for another sibling. :(

My oldest one (just turned 9) has said she does not want another baby in the house and she will move out if we have another!!! What do you say to that? Lol

Our 4year old really really wants a little brother as he feels left out with all the girlyness around him!

Our little one is 2today!!!
Such an emotional day I think when they turn 2, the baby is truly gone!

What’s everyone’s plan this month?

Using ov sticks (a year out of date but seem to work), line getting darker today cd17, which fits with my feeling of ov tomorrow.

Dtd 2days ago and will gather up strength for tonight again!

Babydust to everyone! :babydust

Hey everyone, cannot believe how quiet it is here!
Where has everyone gone???

This forum used to be buzzing and I so loved it with my other 2!

I still love to read back on my symptoms on the trains I got pregnant on etc!!!
Such a lovely memory and (hopefully) will always be there.

Anyone anything to report?

7dpo today and not sure if I am imagining it, but have been having some light light pains below as if a big fat juicy egg was just nestling in. :)

Oliviasmum, how old is your little one?
A basketball hoop, sounds exciting!!
I hope she loves it!

It’s great when they love the outside. We are lucky to have a big garden and the kids are in and out all day. What gorgeous weather!

Fc for you that af is on her way, I remember when ttc for #2 my cycles had completely disappeared with the stress of it and60days was the longest I had! It was so frustrating when all you wanted was a fresh start/fresh cycle!

My little one is 3 but she might aswell be 13 she acts like like it we don’t have a back garden or anything we live in an apartment so we just play out the back area where we park the cars there also a little green area so it grand and the apartments the way they were built is they are only 2 storey apartments so if ya were to see it from the front it actually looks like a house and I’m in the bottom one so it’s grand and we can leave all the toys and everything outside the back door cause it’s so quite here..
Ah there nothing worse when cycles are all over the place my longest not to get af was about 6 months it’s just so annoying and I’d love another one so she not left growing up on her own aswell sorry for the long post

Lol. It’s def true, they grow up so fast especially girls and act so grown up!
Sounds like a nice setting, the basketball hoop will be ideal for it.

That is super frustrating to have disappearing periods, any sign of it now after the spotting?

We were ttc for almost 2years for #2, all we wanted was for dd to have a sibling!
She was 4 when de came along and it seemed like a big age gap at the time, but really they grow out of the baby stage so quickly, you would not see the age gap now at all.

Did you have trouble conceiving your first?

Yea it finally came today and it’s super heavy can’t even sleep it is so annoying cause when I do get them they are really heavy and painful and then trying to look after her and play with her aswell is a nightmare haha I’m trying for last 2 years but with the disappearing periods it’s very hard I said I’d try to continue and when or if this virus settles down I’ll look into some options cause it took 7 years to have my little one and that’s another 7 years I don’t have time to waste ha
Yea they grow so fast you wouldn’t see the age gap my niece has a 7 year gap between her 2 and ya wouldn’t even notice it now they are like best friends

How are you getting on ladies? My af also showed this week (bang on time, looks like things have gotten back to normal despite the breastfeeding still). I'm not too disappointed, as we really didn't try this month. I only just started taking a preconception multivitamin (got hubby on them too!), so just as well or I'd spend 9 months stressing about not having taken it in advance. We'll have to start a June train Oliviasmum!

That’s great that you got af on time at lest now you know your getting back on track I still have af and it’s just getting heavier and heavier I expected that though it’s nithing new for me so it should slow down by mid week if not I’ll get onto the doc I wouldn’t have a clue how to start a new train haha otherwise I would give it a go

Hi ladies. I'm going to jump in if thata ok. I was on here when ttc my first baby a few years ago. She is nearly 3 now and we have been trying for around 4 months. My period is 2 days late and I just did a Clear Blue and it was negative. I was convinced I was pregnant, felt nauseous the past few days and very vivid dreams, which I had on first pregnancy. Hope you are all doing ok xx

Hi Shannon, sorry to hear about the bfn, but happy you're joining the TTC train with us. We might update with a "summer train" rather than monthly since it's just a few of us on here. Lean, Oliviasmum, are you guys on board? I think it's my fertile week, but tbh we haven't DTD at all, timing is crap with work. Hopefully tomorrow/ that, but I'm not sure this will be our month

Yep I’ll be on board I ovulated again this month by the looks of it but couldn’t do anything as little one is sick with kidney infection and constantly in my bed with me as she keeps waking up in the night to use the loo and have a few melt downs so missed my chance this month and it’s very rare for me to ovulate 2 months in a row I’m hoping things are getting back in track for me but we will see next month

Hi Ladies,
Hi Shannon1982, I have been here on this forum for years also when ttc our last 2babies. :)
How old is your little one?

Quick update from me. We got our bfp last cycle, totally unexpected and hubby was in absolute shock but still very much delighted that it went so quickly.
Unfortunately it was short lived as I started cramping and bleeding at 4weeks4days.
It took me a good week to process what happened, I was so tired it was unreal.
It was our first loss.

Back and rearing to go again, CD 17today.
Have been getting mixed messages from ov sticks, I would usually ov CD18, but after getting darker yesterday it is lighter again today so no idea at all what is happening!!!

How are you Oliviasmum?
Has your little one recovered from her kidney infection?

I know what you mean reg dtd, it is impossible to even find the time to do it!!!
Children are the best contraception as they will literally walk in any hour day and night!!

Leah I am so sorry to hear that it is terrible I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks a couple of years ago and it was horrendous I didn’t even know I was pregnant as periods were virtually non existent as I didn’t know I had pcos back then only diagnosed after I had the little one have had one chemical since and a suspected one after that aswell so I know how tough it is little one is much better now but still in my bed it’s a nightmare to try get her back into her bed now and I have to go to bed with her she won’t go without me and then I end up falling asleep hahaha and she keeps asking me for a sister she wants a little girl just like her and it’s absolutely breaking my heart she actually start sobbing the other week saying she really wishes for a little girl like her so I’m thinking of looking into iui just have to persuade the oh to go ahead and do it

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that Lean87. That sounds awful. My little girl will be 3 in August! I absolutely hate the pressure of TTC. I feel like it just takes over everything! In going to try and stay positive that it will happen soon!

Hi ladies I'm gonna jump on this train. I have a 19month old and was on the forums when Ttc, it was a great support to have. We were trying for 8 months last time and I became obsessed with it so im trying for a more relaxed approach this time. Looking forward to chatting x
