Sarah that's great news. Just goes to show when you think it's all bad news a good thing shows up. Delighted you can start.
Mrsa I hope hopings story will give u some confidence and positivity in the days to come. Don't try and think too much about the practicalities of ivf at the moment but i promise u u will be able to do it. It's actually exciting when you get started. For me it brought me closer than I ever would be on my own to getting pregnant. The turmoil of waiting every month and getting no where is far worse than ivf. Your stronger than you think and your well capable of this. Walking through the door in the first place is the hardest bit and you've done that. Don't be hard on yourself.

Sarah I'm so delighted for you! That's brilliant you can go ahead with stims!
Mrsa I know I didn't feel brave at the start...take some time to get your head around everything and take it one step at a time x

MrsA, sorry it's a quick one but if you google amh graph, you will see a coloured chart, this gives you a good indication. It's definitely not the lowest and an antral follicle count will give you a better idea.

Sarah, that's just wonderful news, delighted for you x

Sarah that’s brilliant news so happy for you... I’m starting stimming today as well... we can be cycle buddies

MrsA I really wouldn’t worry. I live n the uk and they don’t test for amh, it often worries me but I always think if it was that important they would all test for it.

Brilliant Bailey ill he delighted to have a cycle buddy! Im not in until next Fri again for a scan, when are you back in?

Michelle, only saw your post there. There was never any talk of adjusting meds on my cancelled cycle over the dominant follicle, i wonder why clinics all seem to take a different approach...either way im delighted to be starting on the long protocol, fingers crossed this one suits me better!

Hi ladies thank you so much for your support and feedback today. Getting my head around things and starting to feel better. It’s not the end of the world and good to get the ball rolling.

Quick q but has anyone had any experience with IUI? Just trying to figure out if it’s worth a shot before trying IVf.

Sarah that's great news! It's a big step further for you so here goes. Every clinic is different but doesn't matter as long as you're moving forward.
MrsA I remember the shock the 1st time we were told IVF. I don't think I really believed it but when I look back now I nearly wish I had started sooner! You will get there and we are here for any support you need. It's a step in the right direction.
Hoping I'm sure the time has dragged to get this point. Hopefully the scan will give you some peace of mind.
I'm much better than what I was but still have the head cold and sinuses. Afraid to take anything while on the spray. Feeling huge at the moment too but don't know if that's as a result of the meds or Xmas!
Bailey good luck with the injection. The 1st one is the hardest, then you'll fly it.
Have fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed for you dotty!

MrsA I was like Michelle it took me a long time to accept ivf and I wish I had started sooner and gave myself a better chance. My clinic only does iui for gay women so it’s never even been offered. I think u need to just get all of the information you can on each and just make a decision...

Glad your feeling a bit better mrsa, no experience of iui unfortunately. It's much cheaper I think but I believe the success rates are a bit lower. Speak to the clinic and they will prob guide you in relation to what they feel your best chances are.
How did the injections go girls?
After an extremely jittery 24 hrs and convinced myself it was going to be negative I did a test.

Bfp....she's a squinter but I'm only 5dpt and have been weeing all day so not sure how good sample was! Feeling all kinds of things right now!!!

Oh dotty this is just amazing!!!! So happy for you!! Awww I’m so so happy for you. Best news I’ve seen all day!!

Thanks everyone for the support yesterday. Feeling a bit better although still a bit up and down.

The clinic is pushing us toward IVF. They said IUI is an option but from an economical point of view ivf makes more sense due to better rates and the fact that we would hopefully be able to freeze some. I’m kind of pushing for IUI though because I don’t think I’m ready for IVF just yet but kind of worried the differing ideas of how to approach things is going to put us in an start off.
