Haha so true hoping, u don’t want to push it by asking but was dying to know.

Dotty I hope you and your oh are enjoying his amazing time.

MrsAm, I’m a bit dubious about iui, I know it’s a lot cheaper but it doesn’t seem to give you a much better chance than trying naturally. But I’ve never done it so I don’t really know what I’m talking about...

Beyond happy for you dotty, enjoy every minute.
MrsA we were similar - could have done IUI and i was all for it at first but IVF gave us a much better chance and due to my age and time already spent ttc we felt it was better to just go for it. But I have seen successes with IUI and maybe if you're not ready yet it woukd be a goid place for yw to start.

Hi Lisa thanks a mill - feeling a good bit better and trying to focus on positives. Dotty of course has made that a lot easier :)

How are you feeling?

Thanks bailey, just processing everything , not knowing all this time that my chances were only probably every second month. Looking forward to a moving forward plan hopefully when I see the consultant in march.

It’s hard to get bad news but try to think of it like you’re moving closer all the time. If u didn’t learn all these things you’d be so much further from your goal. Itll be no time until your meet with your consultant and then things will really get moving for you.

I’ve only done two injections so far of only 150 gonal f but I’m bloated and ovaries are so sore. Didn’t notice anything til 5 days in last time. Really hoping that I’m not going to be over stimulated

Baileybee what’s your background or what led you to ivf if you don’t mind me asking. While I’ve been on these forums for ages I feel like I only know bits of everyone’s story so just trying to get to know them all :)

Thanks again girls :)

Lisa march is no time away and they will definitely have a plan in place. My blocked tube had a massive impact on my ability to get pregnant, and getting it fixed has changed everything. I'm sure it will for u too.
Bailey I think second time round were much more tuned it to it all and how it affects us, it's a good thing u can feel it and don't worry at all about over stimulating. I think I may have actually said the same thing last year a few days in and I was totally fine. Other than that how are you feeling?

You’re probably right dotty, its all happening so much faster this time on short protocol.

Mrs A been trying for 5 years now with 3 Mc along the way, have tried clinks and then tamoxifen and finally onto ivf. This is my second round. The first one I responded really well but the quality wasn’t great and it didn’t work and had nothing left to freeze. That’s why he’s trying a more gentle approach this time. He said he would hope that lightening doesn’t strike twice but if the same thing happens again I think it’ll be onto donor eggs for us.... wow seems crazy when I write it all down...

I was hoping to start in early April Bailey but I have something happening in work at the end of that month that I know is going to be really really stressful. My guesstimate has me at about 4-5 days into the TWW at that time. Although I'm so dying to just plough on, I"m thinking stress isn't the best - is it?? I absolutely won't leave it any longer than May.

Msbb I think you need to feel 100 percent ready to get started so if that means putting it off another month then def do it. It’s stressful enough without dealing with something else at the same time... May is only weeks away when u think about it

Mrsbb do it when you feel it's the best time, the less stress the better. Like Bailey said it's only a matter of weeks.
Bailey how are you feeling now? I think it's only normal to feel it more the 2nd time round but hopefully it'll be your lucky round
