Re: Longer term ttc #1
Michelle I'm so sorry to read that...how many dpo are you past the transfer? Any chance it might be too early?

Aw Michelle I'm so so sorry to see that...i was so hoping it would be different for you this time
I hope what I said didn't push you to test if you werent ready but i just remembered what you said from last time. I remember thinking it was so unfair. I'm so so sorry again. Mind yourself x

Thanks girls. Mrsbb and dotty it's 8 days after transfer so I'm afraid that would just be wishful thinking. Don't know what all the niggles and twinges were about but anyway it is what is now.
Sarah it's good that you have a date for your consultation and I hope things move along for you now. It's a really hard thing to go through so look after yourself.

Hi Girls, catching up on everyone’s news. Delighted things are progressing for you Bailey. Sorry To hear your news Sarah. At least you have a frostie left and hopefully have a plan soon. Not easy though. AFM, I got polyp removed on Monday and started pill the wknd. The plan is to reduce menopur to same as cycle I had one blastocyst to see if that improves quality. We are going to transfer 3 on day 3 if we have them. I’m scared but excited.

Thanks Dream, i know im lucky to have a frostie. Hopefully get it back inside me as quick as possible! Fantastic you are moving into another cycle. And reducing the menopur sounds like a good idea especially if thats the cycle that got you your blast. And 3 on day 3 sounds like a good idea! You sound positive which is great! Are u on the pill so for about 2 weeks & then start the buserelin?
Michelle have been thinking of you. Its so crap. Hope your ok xxx

That sounds like a good plan dream...glad you're moving forward again! Michelle I think it's a self-preservation thing. And there's no right or wrong way to feel. I think second time is just so different...will you ring the clinic and let them know?

I can understand that too Michelle your probably feeling numb right now. Some times that can be a self preservation thing. But its still a really crap thing to get a negative result. Do you think there is any hope? I did read before that frosties can be a bit slower to get started and can result in later bfp. I know you dont want false hope and i get that too. But you were only 8 days past transfer yesterday?

Thanks Lorraine and Sarah. I think numb might be a good word to describe it right now. Yeh Sarah 8 days yesterday but it was a day 6 embryo. Tested again this morn to make sure and stark white. Pretty sure they'd would be something tgere by now. Might wait until tmrw to ring the clinic Lorraine as they prob won't be too impressed that I tested so early.

Michelle they know well that we test early. When I was talking to the nurse at transfer she just laughed when I mentioned it was a possibility and she said that there was no way she could wait herself. Will you stay on the progesterone etc til otd? Do you have a beta anyway? I'm so sorry you're going through this again. We're here for you.
And for you Sarah...how are you feeling today? Any sign of af yet? Get lots of nice painkillers and chocolate in. Thinking of you x

It's a total feeling of numbness Michelle....so much meds and weeks of prep and then all over in a instant. I felt a bit like that and thought I was ok and then it hit me a few days later. Allow yourself to feel whatever whenever you want. X
Sarah mine took a day or 2 to start properly, hope it doesn't keep you waiting too long- if that doesn't sound awful!

Just saw in the paper sile seoige talking about a missed miscarriage....Just thought it was brilliant to have celebs bringing this stuff up and making it ok to talk about. We all struggle I think in 'real life' to talk about stuff and I think anyone who is brave enough to tell their story to help others is wonderful. Just wanted to share that!!!
