Just read that back and I know I sounded ungrateful. It's amazing that we now have 5 little embabies and I know how lucky we are to even be at this point it's just the anxiety and worry talking. Hopefully our golden egg is in this batch!

It's not ungrateful at all Lorraine, focus on those five!!! I'm so your twin. Only 6 of mine were mature and 5 fertilized, they said they look good and will call on Sat with an update. It's one more than I had at this stage last time! So I'm going to take that as as a positive. And it's the quality that matters not the numbers we tell each other all the time so I'm saying that to you Lorraine!

5 each dotty...Wahoo! I asked them to call me Saturday if they're not too busy. I really hate not knowing what's going on so had to ask!

God to go to Monday not knowing is far too long Lorraine, they said would update me day 3. I was a bit disappointed we only had 6 at the start that meant we had 6 inmature ones which the luveris was supposed to help...But 5/6 is good. We only had 4/9 day one last time. So that's an improvement! And I knew we wouldn't do massively better than last time. Please let the days go quick for us!

Wow, Dotty and Lorraine. Great news! Will it be a 5day transfer for you both or see how all is going on day 3. Lorraine, I would def ask for update before Monday.way too long to go without hearing update. I had scan and I have 11 follicles on each side, so 22. Only 9 look like they will large enough to be mature. I’m in again on Saturday with egg collection potentially on Monday

Dream that's great for this stage! Another few days cooking time and you'll be surprised at the difference! Fingers crossed for you!
They will update me on Sunday anyway (day 4) but I don't think I'll be able to keep calm until then not knowing! She said as it's the weekend there's only 1 embryologist on so they may not get a chance to update me Saturday aswell but will try. Can't ask for more than that and they are always so lovely i know they won't brush it off.
Mrsa you're doing so well with the waiting. Fingers crossed Sunday brings good news for us all!

Not at all Lorraine its an all consuming time for ye!! It just takes over everything doesnt it!
Im ok after my review, but I did ring the nurse today with a few questions that I felt werent answered so feeling a bit better now. Finally ovulated on Tuesday so will hopefully be starting my femtab in about 2 wks and hopefully my fet about 2.5 wks after that!

Dream, fantastic numbers for you too, wow! And if I remember correctly they lowered your dose for this round?

Hi Sarah, yes I was on 370 of menopur. The DH has been on clomid and anastrozole for nearly 3 months, I’m hoping for better quality sperm. He didn’t get SA done since he has been on it, hope it pushes them in right direction. I’m not looking for much, good quality eggs and sperm :-). Dotty and Lorraine, are you hoping to do single or double transfer? Exciting and nerve wracking times ahead. Great to feel like something is happening though. Usually spend month after month wondering if anything is happening!

I'm hoping to put 2 back but I'll wait and see what the embryologist says Sunday. Don't want to be counting my chickens!

Ah mrsa I'll be sending lots of luck for Sunday. I'm hoping for 2 to transfer as well dream but my clinic won't do 2 unless they are the same quality as they feel it's detrimental to the better one, so we will see Monday!

Great result ladies - I can see ye in the labour ward together yet!!!
Just a reminder that on day 1 I only had 4 fertilised out of 11 eggs and 3 made it to blast. Only lost 1 out of 4 in 5 days. I know I'm repeating myself but wanted to keep ye hopeful. We used the camera too and I found the updates every day really helped keep my mind at ease.
Roll on Sunday for ye all! Hope it's a great day all round!
Dream that's great for you too and still time for more improvement.

Thanks Michelle! It's great to hear those stories again...it's so easy to forget that it can go well. It's just all so fecking stressful :( Had a good chat there with my best friend she's planning her wedding so was a great distraction for the last 2 hours!!
Another day closer!
