Congrats on the scans Meander and flipper :) brownie hope you little one feels better soon. Tonsils are awful, poor little thing. MrsA your appointment with detective sounds like it went really well. Sounds very in line with serum too which is great. My notifications stopped again, not sure what is going on.

Well oliviasmum, any higher reading today?!

Girls anyone get lower back pain this early on, am only 14 weeks and totally paranoid now something wrong. It's sore to bend down and stand up. Bit crampy too but have had that loads before and all has been fine.

No I haven’t had a chance to do any today am up since 2 o’clock this morn with the little then brought her to the doc today turns out she has a kidney infection so hasn’t been pleasant at all today I could nearly sleep standing up at this stage

Brownie it might just be the standard back pain that comes with pregnancy but the only time I ever had back pain along with cramps was when I had a kidney infection but I’m sure that’s not the case with you as I’m prone to kidney infections anyway and I had them from the very start of my pregnancy right I ended up on 1 pill a day that was very strong to prevent further infections but if your worried about no harm in ringing your doc for advice can never be to careful

Aw the little pet, did u get antibiotics for her? Hopefully they will kick in soon. So hard when they are sick... Hope you get to bed early and good night's sleep xx

Hopefully it's not anything to be worried about but it's pretty sore. Maybe just stretchy pain, but not convinced

I have had pelvic girdle pain from quite early Brownie. I mainly feel it turning over in bed and lifting my legs to get dressed. Not sure if that is the same but my yoga instructor recommended shorter walks that were more frequent rather than the longer walk I was doing every day. Also my yoga ball helps. Defo check in with your doc if you are worried.

Brownie, back pain is really common and caused by loads of different things - hormones and stress, ligaments becoming softer which can put a strain on the joints of your lower back and pelvis. I've had intense back pain from constipation. While it's sore and uncomfortable, it's not usually something to worry about. Depending on what yours if caused by, could you do stretching or yoga, or there are belly bands that might help with the strain? A few more baths? Your GP or a physio might help figure out the cause, but most likely your baby is doing great, is just your body outside of the baby is just unhappy. Frustrating I know after you've already been feeling miserable.
Oliviasmum, you poor thing. You must be wrecked! Hopefully the antibiotics will clear up your little one and you'll both get a good sleep. Let us know how the ov tests go!
Dotty, MrsA, are you into the tww?

Done one this morning and it’s roughly still around the same so I’m either gonna ovulate late or not at all I’m hoping just late little one wasn’t to bad last night just woke up crying twice thinking she had wet herself when she hadn’t I think it’s juat all the pressure from the kidney infection hoping antibiotics kick in soon doc is just waiting on results back from the lab to see what they say and then gonna refer me to a specialist although it’s not uncommmon for a child of her age to get kidney infections it’s rarely seen he just wants to make sure that the wee is not going back up sorry tmi

Oliviasmum your poor little one, kidney infections are awful normally, but when they are small it must be hard to watch. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon.
Meander how is your constipation now? Hope its easing up as you get further along? Are you feeling more kicks now?
Brownie I know it's so worrying to feel any kind of unusual pains when pregnant, I wonder if the aches and pains happen sooner when you've had a baby? In the same way that you show sooner etc? But still check with your doctor if your worried. As mrsk and others have said so many reason why, just hope you can get some relief from it.
Flipper how are you doing?
Lorraine are you getting the bags packed and ready to go?

Ah the poor thing Oliviasmum. Are the antibiotics starting to kick in?

Brownie from week 16-17 I had those bad cramps, and back pain. It was unnerving but ultimately nothing wrong thankfully. Is lower back? Periody? Will give you a laugh. Had a lie in this morning (took a day off) and did a big stretch when I woke up and pulled a muscle in my back. Seriously... wtf!! I am here looking back at pics of when I was pregnant with my little man and Jesus Christ my bump is twice as big as it was then.

Lorraine hope you’re enjoying the bag packing phase. I LOVED packing my bags and then ultimately unpacking and repacking them!

Dotty how are you?

Oliviasmum any sign of ov?

MrsK how are you feeling now that you’ve had a chance to digest all of the detective advice?

Babydreams you must be delighted to get going again. Anything major you have to do to prepare for IUI? Any stimming injections?
MrsA hope AF stays away, will be thinking of you!
Oliviasmum glad she is feeling a bit better, hope she's out of pain at least.
Thanks for advice girls, went to bed that night thinking I would be in bits by morning, woke up and it was perfect! Think I must have majorly overdone it on Thursday.
Need to start some Pilates once I feel human enough to try and strengthen my core and back a little.

Thanks Brownie, I am excited for us but also for all the other couples who got cycles cancelled.
I need to book in for baseline sometime in July then back onto Gonal F again from day 2 of my cycle.
Only thing that crossed my mind as stupid as it is, if we do get pregnant we won’t be able to celebrate like we normally would, hugs, Family visits etc It’s so stupid but it made me really sad. Does anyone else feel this way?

Babydreams to be honest I was out with my Mam during the week and I had to hug her and cause I knew I wasn’t going anywhere and neither was she I felt alright doing it I actually really needed that hug from her haha

I took an ovulation test this morning and it was a little bit darker then yesterday’s not by much now but I took one a while ago and there is no line at all but I’m getting nightly pains in my left side so I wonder if I’m ovulating it if I’ve already done so or maybe I’m not but who knows what’s going on in there pcos tends to run a muck with me lately so I think I’ll just dtd and see what happens I know nothing will come of it though so not holding out much hope
