Mrsamy its a total head wrecker of a thing to do, and nothing prepares you for it until your in it, feeling like your head and your heart might explode.
Sarah really said it all there with her advice, and I totally agree with her. As awful and cruel as it sounds it is better to try and get to day 5, you want to make sure everything is perfect when you transfer an embryo. They are hard fought for. But we all totally get that feeling of just wanting to do something. Dont forgot you have just pumped yourself full of hormones and drugs so be kind to yourself. You still have some embryos in the running there, and 24 hrs In embryology is a very long time. Try and get some rest and relax if you can- I know its so hard.

The one excellent one made it to blast. <3 she said it was top quality 3/3 for something? Inner cell mass, and A grade?

2 of the 3 average ones are early blast, so not enough cells to grade yet but she is hopeful for tomorrow.

Literally crying with relief.

No, not yet. I'd imagine it'll be around Thursday? That's when I should be due (without all the meds) and is 10 days from the trigger as well. So fx not too much longer to wait.

The relief is unbelievable. I was so afraid the one strong one wouldn't even make it, let alone having a possible 2 others to freeze. (hopefully!)

Should be starting over the Bank Holiday weekend! Not long now

Thanks so much Dotty, yeah it's great reassurance to have one at least.

Am awfully crampy today and spotting a bit so have messaged the portal. Its not quite Day 1 but close enough :-P I'd imagine it will be tomorrow.

Have one more to freeze today. Which I think translates to about a 5bb? Their grading system is weird. Numbers instead of letters. It's 5 as it's hatching, 3/5 for inner cell mass and 2/3 trophectoderm.

The other one didn't make it... :-( but at least we have one extra. :-)

False start with period, nothing since except twinges and cramps.

Delighted you have another to freeze mrsamy, I try not to think of grading- if it's good enough to freeze ifs good enough to be a baby. Gope the period gets going soon and you can start the next bit. Frozen is much easier to manage

Thanks so much girls, at least we've the 2. Is it weird to feel like if the first one takes its super sad to leave the last little one behind. :-/ my dh has said 100% one more baby is IT... But feels really strange to think of not using one if its left. Counting my chickens, I know. I need the first one to work first. :-)

Oh huge good luck Sarah! How long will you be gone for?

Thanks girls, well I wouldn't say it went well exactly but it looks like I'm still heading over! Not adding stims this time so we are literally working with 1. Hard to be optimistic but hey ho! X

Should be there about a week mrsamy!

Thinking is the worst of it Dotty. :-) how are you getting on? Fed up hanging around? At this stage I'll be joining you. No sign whatsoever of a bleed. Fml.

Ever so trite, but comforting at the same time, only takes one, Sarah. Fingers and toes crossed.

Hi Sarah what was the reason they didn’t add meds in the end? You made it work with only two retrieved last time so I have everything crossed it will be the same this time. Hope you’re all set. Where you staying?

Thats what I'm clinging to mrsamy xx

MrsA, no meds added as there was just the 1st follicle to work with...can u believe that! I always had a few but they didn't grow with stims. Iv always had 1 dominant follicle way ahead of the rest so nothing unusual there i suppose.
And yes 2 were collected last time, but 1 was discarded as it was abnormal, so essentially only 1 then...

Just hard to be hopeful...but it did work before so u never know...but 2 years older this time! 38....
