Best of luck for the update Sarah. Doesn't get any easier does it.

Every stage of this process is torture mrsamy. You get through one hurdle and relax for a day then on to the next thing.

Haha that's exactly it Dotty. Looking forward to a bit of a break from it all mentally, to be honest. Never fully appreciated the toll it takes on you mentally. I thought I'd just be excited to actually be doing it. Instead I'm a nervous wreck and reading bloody medical journals every day! :-/ oh well, it's part of it all, I suppose.

Hope the update went well Sarah, x

Thanks Mrs Amy. I'm doing good. Much harder pregnancy this time than my first but so grateful to be pregnant. 31 weeks now. Sickness only stopped at 22 or 23 weeks and then heartburn kicked in which made me vomit again from 30 weeks on but got meds for that last week and it's starting to lift again. Not sure if it's that I'm older this time or just each pregnancy is different but this one couldn't have been more different to Js if I tried. On the home stretch now please God. Just want baby here safe in my arms so I can finally take a deep breathe. Think infertility and loss makes you never relax until baby is here.

Thanks so much Meander. Next week is midterm so hoping that'll fly and will get a date early the following week for transfer.

Aww gym, that does sound tough. The heartburn is wicked. I had it with my first and just vomited from it constantly. It was rotten. Hope the meds help ease it for you. Countdown is really on! You're having a Christmas baba?? <3 best Christmas present in the world! Xx

So I had my day 3 transfer today, but not feeling great about it...It was 8 cells which is perfect but grade 2 as there was 10-15% fragmentation...I just feel totally out of the running now as Luke was top quality 8 cells zero fragmentation. So upset...but they did try reassure me they definitely see pregnancies with similar grade. But definitely the chances are lower, on the serum fb page all the success stories seem to be grade 1...

Sorry to be so negative I can't help it! X

Ah Sarah I’m sorry you feel deflated. Transferring can be really tough when you don’t feel 100 percent. I have every faith that this will work out for you. I hope you’re ok xxx

Aw Sarah why cant it ever be straightforward :(
I'm sure grade 2 will still give you a good chance but I know completely the fear when everything is not "perfect". Maybe try to remember how worried and deflated you felt last time when one egg wasn't mature and everything still worked out well? Dunno if that might help or not so ignore me if that sounds stupid! Hugs x

Thanks Lorraine xx So hard to be any bit positive, huge gamble going through all of this knowing its for 1 egg/embryo, I had hoped for a high quality embryo considering there were no stims at all, but unfortunately no! I know its not the worst grade but definitely not feeling very hopeful sigh x

Hi Sarah, I know it’s hard to have faith when embryo wasn’t same grade as previously but you also have to remember that ‘perfect’ blastocysts have failed to implant too. This is a complete lottery. Keep the faith in your little embaby, it has met all your expectations so far.

Aww Sarah, I'm so sorry it wasn't more positive but there's still such a good chance. Embryologist told me fragmentation over 25% is not viable - which is how we lost so many - but 10-15 is nowhere near that! Fingers and toes crossed! When do you reckon you'll test?
