Longer term ttc #1
Re: Longer term ttc #1
Hi dream, hope you got sorted and verything went to plan with serum. I took sick leave this time as there's no flexibility for me in my work for changing dates etc.
Sarah I stayed off the clexane and aspirin, went for a scan yesterday at 10+2 and all good actually measuring a day ahead! You must be due soon are you? Hope your feeling OK.
Hope everyone is doing alright!

Hi Dotty, I’m going to Athens on Wednesday. Slightly stressed as my little girl has been with my mother in law yesterday and mother in law is now positive. My daughter is in crèche a few days a week though and had temp only few weeks ago so could already have had it? Why this week of all weeks .

Best of luck oliviasmum, I really don't know when would be the best time to test as that would depend on when you ovulated...fingers crossed though!
Dotty, absolutely amazing news to have another great scan, you must be on air! So happy for you! And it goes to show you didn't need the clexane at all. It really is prescribed as a just in case for most people. Am 39 wks on Monday and being induced then. Nervous!!
Dream, that's a right pain, what absolute crap timing. Have ye been testing? If positive can you proceed with egg collection? Ugh, so sorry you have this added stress....

Sarah Best of luck today, hope it all goes smoothly and quickly. Will be thinking of you.
Dream its typical timing isn't it....hopefully you can stay covid free. I think they can still do the collection even if your positive, but hopefully you won't be.

Thanks so much ladies, I didn't need to be induced today as I went in early morning yesterday and baby boy was born within 5 hrs before the afternoon, a nice straightforward delivery so I was delighted! All is great xx
That's great news Dream...do you know what day is egg collection?

Hi Ladies, had a scan today, 10 eggs the dr expects as per scan. He is encouraging me to do a 5 day transfer but I think I would prefer to transfer on day 3 as we don’t usually get blasts. I think I have to just wait and see how the week goes. Egg collection planned for Monday

Dotty, those 12 weeks flew! I had egg collection yesterday and got 16 eggs. Update today was that we have 11 embryos! It’s amazing to hear. We are doing a day 3 transfer on Friday. Hoping to transfer the best 3. Really hoping that quality is good.

So on way to airport, transferred 3 day 3 embryos grade 1 8 cells. Have 6 more 8 cells and 2 4 cell embryos left growing in lab. They seem to think I will have some frozen but I never had before so here’s hoping they are right!

Re: Longer term ttc #1
So I just found out the other embryos didn’t make it past morula stage. It’s a kick in the teeth as it’s quite obviously the same fucking issue we always have. I could have a million eggs but never get to blastocyst stage. I’m not confident with the ones put back. Just sick of it all at this stage. Sorry for the rant.

Oh dream I'm so feckin sorry to hear that now...so disappointing for you both. I presume ye put the best 3 back so I'm keeping everything crossed that one sticks, it has happened before for ye. But of course you are feeling crap right now....and feel free to rant away on here, that's what we are here for...

Hi all, lost my username and couldn't log in for ages. How is everyone doing??
We're back in with Repromed. Halfway through downreg. Have a scan on Tuesday to hopefully start stims. I'm under a new consultant and they're doing a lower dose of stims so hopefully that makes a difference and we get fewer eggs but better quality, and don't hypserstimulate as they want to do a fresh transfer.
How everyone else getting on??
