Hey Brownie, how are things with you? Yup, my little boy is almost 7 months now! It's been crazy!!
And I completely agree, it was a godsend having all you ladies to chat with when going through everything! It kept me sane tbh!

I hope everyone else is doing ok. I hope things are looking positive for everyone still on this journey. I'll keep checking in for updates, i feel somewhat invested in you all!

As for me, my family is complete so I won't be ttc again! Xx

7 months! You’ll need an extra set of eyes soon, he’ll be stuck in everything!! How did Luke take to the new arrival?!
All good here, oldest turned 4 last week and little miss is two now! Actually had been trawling back through forum trying to look something up and ended up reading through so much of it. So many struggles and brilliant outcomes. Wish so much for all the girls on here who were still waiting that they’ve had some luck.

After Christmas I had a very late period (this doesn’t end well!!) Honestly thought nothing of it. We had literally had sex once the whole month, like day 6 of my cycle. Hadn’t even crossed my mind! When it was a week late happened to come across an out of date FRER and said ah sure might aswell indulge my old habit!! Lo and behold a dye stealer positive. Nearly died with the shock. I’d have struggled always to get a proper positive unless on lots of support meds. Got HCG bloods done then. They were about 500 which wOuld have been lower than similar stage on pregnancy with my little girl so I had a feeling then not good. Bloods a few days later and they were almost the same. So that was that! Brief excitement. But wasn’t to be.
So in a moment of madness a couple of weeks ago we decided to try for another. That seems to be going similar direction to my old chemicals. FRER had v little profession over two days 10dpo to 12dpo. Only have cheap strips now and they not changing either. Period due tomorrow I think. So think I’m done now! We were done anyways to be honest, we weren’t planning another really mainly because we really can’t afford another baby. Obviously we would make it work but with my age I think I’d stress myself out so much worrying about potential problems etc.
Counting myself lucky to have my two precious babas. This is my 7th pregnancy, whatever my issue is God knows! Even took the support meds from first positive this cycle and no good. Makes me wonder were the two successful pregnancies just pure luck!!
Anyways there’s my RANT!!!

Be lovely to get an update from everyone if they check in from time to time?!

Well Sarah, no positive update. Period arrived only about 3 or 4 days later. Honestly am totally fine about it. We’ve had a proper chat about it and although it would be so lovely if we were lucky enough for another baby to work out for us, for me I can’t do the mental torture again. I turn into crazy person. It’s funny the only thing not on the new regime (which apparently has changed since I was last in them) is no steroids and estrogen pills added in.
Wonder was the killer cells my issue and I needed the steroids. When it happened at Christmas I’d been quite sick for a couple of weeks, sinus etc and wonder was my body busy fighting that off and embryo managed to implant decently. Anyways I’ll always be wondering now!!

How are you keeping?? Busy busy? Are you back to work?
Wonder how Dotty getting on with little Rian.

Ladies how are you all?? Brownie, I'm so sorry that happened, it must have been rough on you. I'm really hoping for a better outcome for you this time.

I can't remember what I last updated so I'll try to summarise. Been siblining-chasing now for two years. :O In that time, I've had one embryo fail to thaw, did a new round, got one embryo, transferred and ended in a chemical. Did another round, got four embryos and we've done two transfers which have both failed. So, did a biopsy round in Feb and now waiting on results. After that, we'll transfer our remaining two embryos (separately) after that. Phew! This is absolutely our last ditch attempts. Staring 42 in the face!! :O

Oh Mrsbb that’s a lot of emotional and physical turmoil there. How frustrating… The chemicals are cruel, every day feels like a month. Glad that you have your little one to keep you busy, but I bet it’s hard not to let the Ttc take up space in your head. Sorry things haven’t worked out yet but you are one determined lady, crossing everything for ye xxx
I’m also facing 42. If we hadn’t been lucky enough to have our 2nd baby I’d most certainly still be trying for another.
I think now though I’m just so grateful that we were lucky and we are so happy with our lot. Yes a surprise number 3 would have been amazing but not to be and I think we’ll be parking it there.
What’s the biopsy round? Is it investigative? If that’s even a word! Ye have been through a lot, hope your husband is doing well??
All quiet here. Isn’t the world gone so mad, feel like you have to shell out money just to breathe at the moment. Zero social life being had anyways!!!

Ah mrsbb I'm so sorry you've been going through all that, it's just all consuming isn't it. And hard to know when and where to draw a line under it, but it sounds like you know. Hopefully the biopsy sheds some light and your remaining embryos result in a baby xx

Brownie, I hear you on the no social life lol! Not really pushed tbh...Im exhausted all the time lol! I return to work part time next week, I wonder will it feel like a break in there haha!

Sorry girls I've been meaning to post but it's been pretty busy in my house lately...Rían is 9 weeks now so finding our feet a bit.

So nice to hear everyone's updates...mrsbb did you get your biopsy results? Sorry to hear about the chemicals they are so cruel. I was 42 having my 2nd, and I wasn't the oldest by far in the hospital so please don't be putting pressure on yourself that way.. Will you go back for the embryo soon?
Brownie I'm sorry you've had those chemicals...I don't think it gets any easier no matter what situation your in. It's hard and cruel. Hope your OK.
Sarah hope you got some peace being back at work....
Lovely to hear from you all, we shared so much over the years it feels strange to not be on here now!
