Hi Dee, if the Clear blue digital says "pregnant 1-2 weeks" then that's a positive! Congrats! Have a happy and healthy 9 months x

I don't actually know the answer to that, but I'm sure others on here will be able to advise you... I just got my first ever positive test last week, and going to the GP next week. I wasn't sure how soon you're meant to go so I waited 2 weeks... Best of luck to you and your July baby!

The only confirmation they give is get you to do a pregnancy test. My doctor didn't even do that he took my word for it . Then they just send info to your hospital so if you have already got a positive then that's basically your confirmation unless you are worried you are having miscarriage they might do bloods then

Hey ladys. So its been confirmed by my doc im now 7 week n 5 days according to her working out my dates. I was told id have my first hospital app between 8 and 10 weeks . I recieved my app from hospital yesterday but ill be 14 weeks for that app..in the letter it says there wont be an ultrasound at first app . Does this all sound bit odd to use? I feel i need to no the babys doing ok b4 i hit 14 weeks what do u all think ??

Congrats Dee great news! I've never heard of anyone having there booking appointment before 12 weeks to be honest. I had mine and was 12 weeks on the button but have heard of others going after this. Maybe just give them a ring and see can you change to a earlier date? I went to Holles st and did have a small scan to check baby's heartbeat but it's very quick. Which hospital are you attending? You could always go for a private scan we did this at 8 weeks

Usually you wouldn't have a scan at booking in appointment but hospital does do a dating scan around the same time as the booking in appointment ? I know my hospital sent two appointments one for booking in and one for dating scan all around 12 week mark . Not sure what hospital you are going to I've never heard of having a 8 week hospital appointment maybe doctor was a bit off with that one . I'll prob get a private scan myself around 8 or 9 weeks

Doc said id get a scan between 8 and 12 weeks i think but when i got my letter from hospital (ill be 14 weeks for the app) it says there no facility to preform ultra sound scan at first app...so does that mean iv to wait till 20 week b4 i no everythin ok ... (iv been with my sister when she pregnant and i dont ever remember her having to wait that long to get checked?) I think ill ring hospital see whats what ..put my mind at ease ..

I'd say absolutely they will scan at separate appointment,my hospital didn't have facility to scan at booking in appointment . Scans were done in different department of the hospital. I don't think they would ever leave it to 20 weeks to date the baby , they need to check if you are having multiples baby is growing at right rate etc etc they wouldn't leave it that long
